The Silver Plume General Store is a family-run staple in Pitkin, providing lodging, supplies, food, and friendly information. The store itself is a quaint little place with a great selection of Pitkin souvenirs, snacks and goodies, fuel, and some groceries. The clean lodging units provide a decent amount of supplies and are a great place for both solitude and friendly porch chats. A major highlight is renting Polaris RZRs for off-road fun. The team is helpful, knowledgeable, easy going, and very informative, providing excellent service and communication. The well-maintained machines are top-notch, clean, and detailed, with power and suspension for a great ride. The owners take every step to ensure a seamless experience, including programming routes for the breathtaking scenery and beautiful views. It is an amazing experience for creating core memories and is highly recommended.
Been coming to pitkin multiple years and riding side x side and it has to be the friendliest staff and determined to go out of there way to make your stay the best possible.

Another great time at the Silver Plume. Accommodations are nice, staff is incredible and the off-roading is second to none. Rent or bring your SxS and in no time you’re experiencing views that are out of this world. Cory and Steph are outstanding hosts. We’ll be back!

Lovely mountain shop with great service, great food and a really nice gift shop. Definitely a must see when you come through Pitkin. Don’t forget to take a picture standing by the bear. They also have a gas station and side by side rentals. Wonderful owners who really care about their customers and their neighbors.
