“On my way back from springs my car went into limp mode on the Saturday of Easter weekend. I was a little frantic and calling different shops and leaving voicemails fully anticipating that I wouldn’t hear back from one until Monday. Jaime called me back within 30 minutes, let me explain the whole situation, drop the car off at his shop, and told me he would do a diagnostic on Monday when they reopened. He got in touch with me at 11am just 2 hours after they had opened with the results and an estimate. I picked my car up that day. One of the fastest turn around I have ever had. The pricing was more than fair, the service was incredible. One of the best experiences I have ever had with a mechanic. I will not be taking my car anywhere else from here on out. Thank you, Jaime!”

I wrote the above review almost a year ago and now it's time to say more. Over the years I have done business with several oil change operations including many Grease Monkeys. Hands down the best is in Pueblo West under the management of Vern Newman. In a field with a lot of employee turn-over, Vern's crews are always friendly, courteous and well-trained. Time and again I bring my vehicles in for a fluid check-and-fill or for some minor repair, and the job is always done quickly and efficiently with a smile, usually with no cost involved. The other day my GF dinged her car just enough to knock loose a front splash panel. Local body shops quoted $150 to $200 to repair it. One place said it couldn't be fixed at all. I finally did what I should have done in the first place. I took it to Vern! In 15 minutes it was fixed and for a lot less than the the body shop guys. No auto service business is 100% perfect but Vern's Grease Monkey is as close to perfect as I've found. Oh, did I mention the free car washes?”
