“We travel with large breed dogs. My only complaints are not being able to use the end exit doors and someone is feeding stray cats out back... which has incurred a family of skunks as well. Luckily no run ins, but if you travel with dogs, beware. We did have an unlocked truck rummaged in the parking lot overnight, but that isn't their fault. Staff is great, facility is clean, and housekeeping does a fantastic job.

Edited: The stay was great! 5 star facility. I mean no harm to the strays/skunks out back - they were fine, and plenty of areas to walk pets. My intent was to warn travelers with active/prey driven pets there are stranger dangers.”

“The hotel staff were friendly. The room was clean and had a tv, microwave and a fridge. The price could not be beat for what you get.
Perfect for a short stay. The location worked well for me.

Only reason why I didn't give a five star is that there was no protein to speak of for the continental breakfast except yogurt and cream cheese (No meat or eggs).”

Heather at the front desk is a big part of why I keep returning. She’s got a cool, friendly energy—quick with check-in, remembers repeat guests, handles requests efficiently, and tosses out helpful local tips with a smile. It makes arriving (even late) feel welcoming instead of routine.

Overall, if you’re looking for a no-fuss, comfortable place for business travel or extended stays, this spot checks the boxes. Highly recommend it—mention Heather when you check in; she’s the kind of staff that makes a difference.

“I'm a Truck driver and I chose this motel because I value a good room when I have to put my truck in the shop. The lady that checked me in was very efficient getting me checked in quickly and explaining the details. The place is a little bit older with some wear but the rooms and everything was clean. The only thing that I found was it had been over 100 degrees outside and the rooms was warm when I went in and it took the AC a couple of hrs to get it cooled down. The breakfast was decent. Biscuits and Gravy we're good. They had bagels, muffins, cereal but no meats that I saw. It was well stocked but I was there at 6:30. Parking is great especially if you want somewhere close to to the front. Captain D's and a Mexican restaurant is within rock throwing distance. They had a pool and hot tub open but I didn't check it out. Overall I was happy with my stay and would recommend anyone looking for a good clean quiet room you will be happy. I'd definitely stay again.”

“Staying at the Hampton Inn (Pueblo Southgate) was a wonderful experience! The hotel staff were amazingly friendly!

As I am physically disabled, the woman supporting the morning breakfast service (Guadalupe) provided (without my even asking!) extra assistance with getting my breakfast to/from the table. She kindly brought extra hot water for my tea, as help to clean up afterwards. Breakfast was delicious!

During the night, moreover, a woman with brunette hair working the night shift quickly brought up extra linens (recall her name was Molly or Megan or Mary?) - as new bed linens were needed unexpectedly too.

Everyone working at this hotel was EXTRA friendly, the room was EXTREMELY clean, and ALLL the staff provided outstanding service. Highly recommend this hotel - and our family will be coming back to stay here again!”

“As soon as I arrived I noticed an older but very tidy and clean property. Upon entering the office I was greeted by Emily the front desk clerk . She was very nice, efficient and answered all my questions quickly. The king room I have is very nice too for being older it is still in good shape, everything works and it looked just like the pictures on the website, a rare thing in today's world. Overall so far a very nice stay!”

“We made a last minute one night booking here, and we were pleasantly surprised by the room's space, configuration, and amenities. This would also be a good place for a multi night stay due to the separate living room space within the hotel room. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the shower had good water pressure. Complimentary breakfast had a good variety, was well stocked, and was delicious. Nice spacious dining area also.”

Had a very good stay at Comfort Inn & Suites in Pueblo. The hotel was clean, quiet, and well-kept, and the staff was friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The room was comfortable, the bed slept great, and everything felt fresh and organized. I also appreciated the convenient location and how easy they made the entire stay. Solid choice in Pueblo, and I would gladly stay here again.”

“The owner worked with my mom didn't throw her out on the streets. He's very reasonable man and has a big heart cause without him my mom would be on the streets.”

“Was just looking for a cheap place to stay while my dad was in the hospital and came across this room for 65 so I jumped on it. Wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. Service was great. Room was clean and very nice. Also you are surrounded by restuarants, convenient stores, there's a Walmart just down the road and a movie theater. Would definitely stay here again.”
