Dennis Weaver Memorial Park is a peaceful and beautiful place designed as a memorial to a good man. It features sculptures, stacking stones, and a giant eagle sculpture that honor the sacred place of the Ute tribe. The park offers a quiet space for walking, meditation, and reflection, with gravel, dirt, and sidewalk paths suitable for strollers and bikes. Bear ran right by us on the water today at 10:30 this morning. Had set up for a picnic and he crashed it. Beautiful park though.

An absolute MUST Stop!! The statue is incredible! Even if you are too young to know who Dennis Hopper was. The port-a-potty on site smells better than a lot of fast food bathrooms I’ve been to. Whoever upkeeps it does a wonderful job! Looks like some great trails too. Did not use them, so can’t say.
