This place is great! The staff are always so friendly and it all goes to a great cause! We always stop here when we come from Texas. It is definitely a place to stop! 😊

Love supporting the good cause and giving back to the animals. But the prices here have gotten so out of hand. These are donated items being resold to the community, not a consignment store. Regularly see employees search eBay or other auction sites for prices.
Don’t get me wrong, there are definitely some good finds, just grossly over priced.

The brown haired older lady that often wears a glove is flat out rude.
My children were in the toy area and they were looking at toys and she made a snide remark, I assured her my children always pick up after themselves. We went to checkout and she told my son, “ I sure hope all of those toys are picked up, are they”???. She didn’t even listen to what I had told her. She’s also been rude before.
I love to buy my clothes at this store but I do not like the hospitality at all.

For a thrift store the prices are pretty high, I know it’s for a good cause, but sometimes you want to find a great deal to be disappointed by a high price tag. All in all, they’re all very nice.

This used to be my favorite thrift store. When I first moved here and couldn't afford to furnish my home/kitchen, it was a life saver. Our family dog is even a Second Chance rescue! But someone new took over pricing a few years ago and all I can say is shame on you and what you've done to the underprivileged in the community. The prices have become ludicrous. I've personally seen her Google the cost of things new and price accordingly, and flat out tell me it's for charity.I understand that it's to benefit the animals, but thrift stores are also supposed to benefit the humans, too, who can't afford new things and are happy to give a second life to what others have discarded.Clothing is constantly priced more than new. I tried to buy some winter clothes recently and sweaters are priced $25 and up, unless it's threadbare. Used clothing should never cost that much unless it's something insanely special. Certainly not a sweater! The coats were over $50. These are the things people need to stay warm in our frigid mountain climate. Where are low-income, working class people supposed to shop if it's not at the thrift store???It's like that through the entire store. I don't think I've actually bought anything in years because now the THRIFT store is inaccessible. 1 star for thrift, but an extra star for being clean and well-organized.

I've driven by this place a hundred times but finally took the time to stop. I was apprehensive based off of the negative reviews on Google, but I was very pleasantly surprised. They have a few different buildings organized by the type of items inside of them. I stuck to the building with the clothes. It isn't the most clean and put together inside, it's a bit cluttered but that's because they have a lot of inventory. They have a lot of really high quality items. The items that aren't very good quality are priced reasonably like $1 for a few decades old marmot winter coat with a couple small holes. I ended up getting a last minute Halloween costume for a few bucks and a like new lands end jacket for $20 that retails for $120 on their website this season. I was on a time crunch otherwise I would've stayed and shopped more. A great place for discount brand name winter gear. Despite contrary reviews, the service was excellent and super friendly. Also supports a great cause. What could be better?

Pretty good place. Found a few things for our resell business. A great dollar rack and some half price color tags. Some things picked at resell price so not very many things were inexpensive enough for us. Friendly staff and volunteers. Well organized too.

Always a great organization to support. Love stopping here and finding treasures along the way on our road trips from Denver to Telluride. Was happy to find they were open on the holiday too, Martin Luther King Day! Thanks for a great little thrift shop and an even better cause supporting the animals.

TOO EXPENSIVE. The folks that run the "thrift" shop need a lesson in pricing. Looking up replacement value on new similar items is quite unfair. They need to take into account the age, condition and depreciation of the actual item that has been donated. Most items have been donated as they hold no value to the original owners. While I am glad the animals benefit I see local folks overpaying dearly - unless the intended customers are tourists and rich residents who have no place in a "thrift" shop if they are only acting to outprice items for locals who really would benefit from a local "thrift" shop. The place is teeming with inventory. Perhaps consider the total amount earned monthly if you sold through more items at lower prices. A Win Win for the shelter and appreciative less prosperous locals. Your used items should not cost more than new similar items at Wal-Mart up the road unless they are truly unique. We just opened affordable housing for local folks for goodness sake. 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. 60%! Please try to keep that top of mind when pricing the donated goods in the future. I'm sure the actual donator doesn't want their item overpriced or they would have tried to sell it rather than donate. Or perhaps you're not a "thrift" shop. Thrift - "careful management especially of money"
