“Russ is the neighbor and handy man I truly believe everyone needs. No matter what I’ve gone there for propane tank fill, U-Haul rental, low coolant top off, or an RV purchase. He has always greeted us with respect and honesty. Willing to help and if he can’t, he has a great recommendation. I’ve never had a bad experience for anything we’ve gone to him for. Saddens me to see a few bad reviews given all my interactions with him and staff over the years. I will recommend Russ without hesitation and will continue to do business with him because of his integrity.”

“Good selection of products for a small town gas station. Only place in town to buy gasoline, diesel, off road diesel, and kerosene all in the same place. Friendly staff, a comfy little nook to relax and sip your coffee and read the paper, free WiFi. There's also a Subway inside of the building with its own separate seating.”

“After leaving Raton we decided to take this route (hwy 69) to Salida, First gas station in this town so I decide to fill up the tank and take no chances until finding another gas station. So the gas price is high, is not big deal since it cost more going to small towns of the beaten pass. Only one person working at the store this AM , she was very polite and a very hard worker dealing with some tourist. For sure if I head this way I will stop here.”

“They have these things in the island that you put your credit card in. And then it allows you to pull out the thing that looks kind of like a gun but not. You can add fuel to your car all by yourself. I learned that a very young age out to do that so I was pretty confident I was going to do a good job. So I put the nozzle in my tank and I push go and itwent. What I didn't like is I had to pay for it after I was done. But apparently that's what you're supposed to do without getting in trouble. Very happy with my purchase. I'm not sure what the quality is cuz I had no way to measure good from bad..”
