“A visible, deliberate intent of improvements and updates. Easy access to the Yampa Core river trail provides safe, outside exercise space and limited traffic from one end of Steamboat to the other. Inside gym offers great alt to braving the elements. Included inside bike and ski storage is a welcome perk. Bear scat, and even a bull moose one night, should remind everyone to be smart. (Don't be that tourist...)
When we visit, I spend the week working in our room(vid meeting worthy wifi), w/dogs, while husband works at his local office, and have to say the all-day, fresh coffee is always welcome treat. Plenty of grounds for walking the fur babies. (Remember to take your own bags to cpean up. Don't be a jerk.)
Staff are personable and pleasant in the hotel, and next door at the restaurant. (Don't forget to show your room key for a 10% discount) Almost all staff we come across is smiling, and nobody is rude.

“I booked two nights in June for the Steamboat Gravel bicycle race. I was greeted professionally by Justin at the front desk. We discovered there was a bobble with my room assignment, and he summoned the manager, who was able to solve the problem within an hour. Thank you”

“what a fabulous meal after a day on the slopes! the teriyaki grain bowl was the best i've had, the brussel sprouts were off the charts .. and the truffle mac and cheese super yummy! i dined with a group of 7... all of whom left happy and full. our server was adorable and the host very accommodating .... would absolutely dine here again .”

“This is an amazing place but it can get sooooo crowded, especially around 5pm. I would probably not go around this time ever again. Personally, I would prefer to pay more $ for less a crowd or for special entry early in the morning.”

“I stayed here one night and had a wonderful time. The front desk staff was very helpful. Location is perfect! I could access the yampa river trail, see the botanic park, and explore the shopping areas. Reasonably priced and had everything I needed!”
