“We have had a lot of packages over the last 3-6 months and have always found the Team in Steamboat to be very helpful, courteous and reliable. The reason why I chose to write this review is because of some outstanding behaviour of a couple of the team. The lady closing the office down at 5.20 on Christmas Eve could not have been more understanding about my delayed Christmas present for my wife, the driver was still out but out of cell and the package was showing on board his van. He would be working his way back to the depot as it was his Christmas Eve to and more than likely had family awaiting him. We worked out a plan and felt that with over 7 inches of snow dropping overnight, delays, un-ploughed drives and traffic accidents are just part of life in the mountains. I went back home, knowing that FedEx and I had done our best but you can't rely on weather and snafus do happen. Imagine my surprise to hear a knock on the door at 7.10pm with the package! This man went above and beyond his job role on Christmas Eve. We sent our very own Santa Claus off with Christmas cheer and some festive nuts. You hear stories about such legendary behaviour but often forget the kindness and effort can also be part of everyday life. So give the FedEx team a break if you have a delayed package or things don't go right. They are human too! Thank you All at Steamboat Fedex.”
