“Steamboat Veterinary Hospital got me in to their office the same day I called! Dr. Nate was deeply compassionate toward my fearful pup. He answered all of my questions (of which there were many :) with patience, graciousness and a lot of thought and care. He was thorough and really helped me diagnose and get to the bottom of what was going on with my pup. He was gentle, loving and very perceptive of what my dog needed from the moment he walked in.
The front desk staff were also incredibly accommodating, welcoming, cheerful and kind. To me this makes such a difference when I am in a new place and especially in a stressful situation with a pup in pain.
These folks are wonderful. Their pricing was also fair and it was clear that Dr. Nate was not trying to upsell or gauge me financially on other procedures and tests like another vet practice that quoted nearly $500 more.
Forever grateful to Dr. Nate and all the wonderful people at Steamboat Veterinary Hospital for their compassionate help in a time of need!”

“There are not enough positive words to describe Dr. Nate and this office. our 4 month old puppy was bit by a friend's dog and her upper palate was punctured and bleeding into her nasal cavity. it was a Sunday night, the first night of our two week Colorado RV trip. fortunately Dr. Nate answered the phone, hurried to the office and did surgery on her quickly. His tender care of our pup (and her parents) reassured us that all would be well. we were able to finish our trip and our regular vet confirmed she had received excellent care (and at an amazing price). if Steamboat Springs were not so far away, we would have ourselves a new vet. thank you so much. “The staff is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Dr. Reese takes such wonderful care of my animals and always makes them feel comfortable during their visits. We bring both of our pets in together because they do better that way, and the team is always accommodating and patient with them.
When I had an emergency issue with my cat, Dr. Reese helped put my mind at ease and provided excellent care throughout the process. I truly appreciate the compassion and professionalism from everyone at the clinic. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this establishment!”
