Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa is a beautiful, calm, and magnificent property set in breathtaking surroundings. The rustic rooms and cabins are comfortable, well furnished, and offer beautiful views. Guests enjoy endless outdoor activities, including fantastic horseback riding, excellent hiking trails, archery, hatchet-throwing, and a zip line. The spa experience is world class and relaxing. The many paths allow for walks across meadows and to ponds.
Dining is a highlight for many, with superb, delicious, and incredible gourmet meals. The Ranch House restaurant receives consistent praise. However, service at the Tavern restaurant is frequently criticized, with reports of long waits, wrong orders, poor coordination, and inattentive staff, though some found the food delicious and the wait reasonable. The staff is generally described as warm, welcoming, and friendly, though the resort sometimes feels understaffed. Minor critiques include housekeeping that isn't always thorough and early closing times for bars and restaurants. Overall, it is a highly recommended, cool, and unique place with a magical experience.
This resort is magical. My expectations were very high and DTR was still able to far exceed those expectations. One of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever visited. Food, hospitality, and accommodations were exceptional as well.

If you have the money to spend this is a beautiful place. They have several activites daily you can participate in for a price. The rooms(except the shower heads) are bougie and really pretty with fabulous views. We had a fun and relaxing time. The heated thermal pool is a plus :)

One of the best trips in recent memory. Especially nice in the summer, something different than the standard beach vacation. We are already talking abt a family reunion here for next summer!
