The rooms were dirty and our window on the forth floor wasn't put in correctly so it could never close totally. We had absolutely no water pressure and only hot water for maybe 5 min but probably not even that long.
Nearby activities: There's shopping and restaurants and fast food all over in walking distance.
Safety: Not the safest area but as long as u go by the buddy system you shouldn't have any problems. And in the day time it's safe.
Walkability: It is very walkable and you can get pretty much anything you want in a matter of blocks to a 5 min walk.

The location is fine, many restaurants nearby. But this hotel is an actual joke, there was blood on the pillows and sheets, there was hair on the towels, and there was glass on the floor, there was an employee willing to help who was friendly but we could not stay the night as it was in horrible condition, not to mention many things were broken in the room. Also they would not give us a refund or allow us to cancel for the night. Do NOT stay here.

Had a major plumbing debacle at the house and couldn’t run the water so I shopped around for a cheap hotel. I landed here at the Baymont. Alex was running the front desk and was very nice and very efficient. The first room, the bathroom had dirty water stains and housekeeping forgot to flush the dirty water in the toilet. Alex immediately gave me a different room. It was fine. This is not a 5 star hotel and it met all of my expectations for the price. They charged me exactly what they quoted. It is quiet, the bed was clean and comfy and my room had a spectacular view of the front range. They have a free continental breakfast with coffee and tea, apple and orange juice, bagels, cereal, waffles and egg and sausage breakfast sandwich. The same offerings that any other hotel I’ve stayed at has. Hopefully the plumbing problem gets resolved today and I can go home but if not I will stay here 1 more night.
Food and drinks: Walking distance to AppleBees, Panera, steakhouse and Starbucks

It's been awhile since we stayed here. There is a new manager, and some new front desk staff. I was a bit disappointed with my experience this time.
The breakfast was not the normal.spread, but instead there were microwavable breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and cold cereal. The sandwiches looked like the Jimmy Dean kind you can buy at the store. It was very strange and I was disappointed. I had been looking forward to some eggs, sausage, and hot oatmeal.
I had to get a break from the front desk to sweep the bathroom floor. It looked like the bare minimum had been done to clean the room. I noticed dust in some places where it should not have been, debris behind the nightstands (discovered when looking for an outlet to plug my phone into for charging), the door to the room had some damage (like a pry bar was used to pop open the door from the outside), and the carpet looked like it could have used a deep cleaning. I kept my shoes on the whole time.
I'm not a very picky person. The cleanliness of the room really surprised me. Just the fact that I had to get a break to sweep the floor was shocking.
Rooms: The room could have been cleaner, but it had a bed, a desk with office chair, an overstuffed chair for relaxing, and a mini fridge with a microwave above it.

Worst hotel I ever been to. The breakfast was for the homeless. They said it was 65$ for the night they charged me $250. No one can figure out why or help me. The shower had mold in it. The carpet was so gross has green goo all in the carpet and was getting stuck to everything. Said it was non smoking room but the room smelt like cigarettes and couldn’t change me rooms.

Rooms: Very worn. Lamps didn't work. Door card was difficult to use.
Nearby activities: This is an area with a large homeless population. There were people sleeping in the bus enclosures and on the sidewalks at 45 degrees.
Safety: Very questionable.
Walkability: I wouldn't.
Noteworthy details: The hotel has a government contract to give homeless rooms when temperatures dip below freezing.

Avoid this place at all costs!
While the manager tried to address our issues, the overall experience was disappointing and the problems were never properly resolved.
We stayed for 3 nights, and here’s a breakdown:
The Good:
-The manager did try to help, but the issues were too severe to fix during our stay.
The Bad:
-Keys didn’t work consistently.
-Toilets didn’t flush properly—they were very slow and eventually stopped working entirely.
-Shower was broken, with a curtain that didn’t work and a rod held together by masking tape. The shower walls had large cracks.
-Beds were unsafe, with a metal chunk sticking out of the bed frame that my child ran into.
-Breakfast was terrible—you’d get better food at a low-end gas station.
-Pool was dirty and cold. The hot tub was out of order.
-Service was poor, and the front desk was unhelpful in resolving issues.
-The bed had a nasty stain, which made us uncomfortable.
-Foot fungus: My entire family started itching our feet a few days after returning home, and we had to begin treatment.
-On the morning we were leaving, another guest who had been staying there before us cornered us while we were getting juice. She asked for cash, explaining she was running out of money and needed more to continue living at the hotel. This was very unsettling and added to the overall uncomfortable experience.
Day-by-Day Breakdown:
Day 1:
-Upon arrival, we noticed the shower curtain was broken and taped together. The shower walls had large cracks, and the bed wasn’t even on the frame properly. There was an 8-inch metal piece sticking out, which caused an injury when my child ran into it.
-The toilet was very slow and didn’t flush properly.
-The pool, which was supposedly heated, felt colder than a river, and we found hair floating in it. The hot tub was also out of service.
Day 2:
-The toilet completely stopped flushing. We reported the issue at 6 AM.
-Breakfast was awful. I’d rather have something from a convenience store than what they offered.
-When we returned around 3 PM, we couldn’t get into our room because the key cards didn’t work. The front desk blamed an outdated card reader system they claimed was new. The toilet wasn't fixed yet.
-We were moved to a new room, but the key cards didn’t work there either. The manager let us in with her key and promised maintenance would fix it. Two hours later, we called again and had to explain the situation again. The maintenance person came and essentially told us to try the card multiple times—it "might work." He promised to fix it in the morning.
-The new room had odd stains on the floor.
Day 3:
-The maintenance guy swapped the card reader, and the key card worked for the first time.
-Upon inspecting the bed, I discovered brown stains on the comforter—likely period stains, which was extremely off-putting.
Day 4:
-We couldn’t wait to leave. We checked out first thing in the morning.
Final Thoughts:
We were really hoping for a relaxing stay, but instead, it felt like we were staying in a poorly maintained and unclean property. We ended up with foot fungus, which suggests poor hygiene standards. I strongly advise against staying here. It’s not worth the money or the hassle.

Bed was clean and that's it. Rude night desk guy. The lady that checked us in was super nice though.

Ultimately, it was nowhere near worth the money spent. The front desk staff was condescending. The spa area was in desperate need of repair. The shower water pressure was abysmal. Cops were constantly in the parking lot due to the frequent tweaker traffic. I had to have my key card rescanned daily, sometimes twice a day. There were no weekly or monthly discounted rates, and the staff was completely incompetent when trying to figure out what I owed for my room. I booked online and there was a set price, but somehow nobody was able to figure out what I was supposed to owe, and when I supposedly paid off my stay with one person, another person told me the next day that I would be owing around $300 more upon checkout. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless I wanted to do it as a practical joke.
But, hey, at least I got my deposit back! 🤣

Older hotel, clean rooms, very quiet, not a great location, lots of "interesting" hanging around, still felt safe
Walkability: Very close to restaurants, brew pub nearby

I stayed her for 3 nights and couldn’t be happier! Yes, the rooms are a little outdated but they’re super clean and comfortable. Akam and Lisa at the front desk were beyond friendly and helpful!!! The pool and hot tub are open until midnight every night. I’d stay here again with absolutely no hesitation!

The room was dirty. The floors weren't vacuumed there were stains on the carpet and curtains. The couch had dog hair all over and the water pressure for the shower was very weak.

Do not recommend!!! Cops being there when we showed up should have given us a red flag!! The rooms were not very clean and there was an odor and a weird noise…..the shower ceiling was about ready to come down….very old hotel that needs remodeling and not worth the price. And i can not believe they can advertise complementary breakfast when they only had frozen waffles, cold cereal, and some bagels! What a joke!

The most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at! When we pulled up there was 2 cops there, that should have been our first clue not to stay! One of the ladies at the front desk seemed tweaked out! The place was full of homeless people, come to find out they give homeless people vouchers to stay there! When we got to our room the table was disgusting, it was wet like someone just spilt something on it! It had big burns on it, the carpet was disgusting, I would not even take my sandals off! The smell was horrendous!!! I told my husband there was no way I can stay in that room so we went next door to a beautiful hotel (thank god they had one room available) come to find out the next morning that there is a lot of fentanyl and K2 being done there!! Do not to stay there!!! Sleep in ur vehicle if all else fails!!!
Rooms: Rooms are disgusting and need remolded
