“Hope Tank is so much more than a cute local gift shop (although it is where I get 90% of my holiday and birthday gifts every year!). The concept of "gifts that give back" extends well beyond support of the local non profits their donations go to. This concept is a true representation of what mutual aid can look like.They run programs and educational forums out of their store and host different local micro businesses at their space every weekend. If you truly want your money to go to the people in your community that need it most, this the place to go. They have limited shopping hours now, but you can support through donations to the store as well. Could not recommend this place more.”
“This is an amazing home, garden and gift shop in charming Olde town Arvada. I’m sure you’ll find something you love for yourself and others. The store its self is a delight. It’s always so beautifully organized. The staff is fantastic and the owners are often on site. Be sure to visit Outside the box too, around the corner. It’s fabulous!”
“I bought the chicken noodle soup recently at a local Farmers Market and made the soup last night...added some shredded chicken... wow was it delish! The product holds up, and it's extra special that the proceeds go towards supporting their charity efforts in helping families of kids with cancer. I just ordered more soups, plus some bags to give to friends at Christmas. Great job 5280 Mermaid!”

“I think it's a great idea to help the less fortunate. You get a gift card that you don't want or need and take it there they will give you a portion of what it is worth and give it to the homeless or people in need of help. It's a win win situation. You are getting some of your money back and helping others that can't afford the necessities that most of us take for granted. It's a wonderful concept.”

“Obviously it’s not open to the public if it’s in a convention center! Don’t know what some of these people are on.
Main thing to get here is the miniature version of the big blue bear outside (I See What You Mean). Everything else is pretty generic and a bit more expensive compared to souvenir stores on 16th.”

“Datura is a go-to for me for gift giving - decor, local gifts and the best jewelry! It stands out for the amazing people that work there like the owner, Jonah, who takes time to talk plants with you and never seems to tire of it! I arranged a terrarium building class recently with some friends and it was the best way to spend a Sunday morning. Jonah spent time teaching us about the whys of terrarium building and took us through selecting our plants and decorating our terrariums with fun mosses, rocks and crystals. We had so much fun that I ended up building two terrariums and am now daydreaming about more...”

“I came in here a few days ago looking for joint tips and had the absolute pleasure of talking to RayRay. She helped me with the tips and we talked a while longer. I told her I was new and town and really liked the brand Blazy Susan. She told me all about them and where their proceeds from different colored products go and that they would even be adding a new one. She also told me about their carbon filters which were so cool and something I had never heard of. She wasn’t just knowledgeable about product but knew about the company as well. She told me all about myxedupcreations, the owners, and how they got arrested back in the 80s or 90s when they first opened up back in the day for selling glass. Super cool store. Even cooler staff. RayRay is a rock star”

“There aren’t a lot of gems on 16th street anymore, but I Heart Denver is one of them.Fear not - this is not your average tacky souvenir shop with T shirts printed in Comic Sans. They actually have trendy, tasteful, useful, locally made items here. Everything from books about Denver and Colorado (on all kinds of subjects, not just history), locally made greeting cards, stationery, home items, hot sauces, other edible goods, magnets, t-shirts, you name it.It’s the kind of store that even a native would enjoy :)”

“Talulah Jones is my absolute favorite boutique to shop at in Denver. The store is a piece of art itself; upon entering, you are greeted with whimsical toy displays, chic gift offerings, and friendly smiles from the staff. Robin, the owner, and Alysa, the store manager, are absolutely wonderful and do an incredible job ensuring each and every customer is cared for at all times. I absolutely love visiting Talulah Jones and can’t wait to return. I highly recommend!”
