“This place has it all... and then some! I've been in a few times and I love chatting with the owners, and of course, seeing Milo, their shop cat! I own two brooms as well as a fly swatter... The brooms are pricy, but i feel they are worth it. They are handcrafted and work really well. Not to mention, you feel really witchy and magical using them! 😊 I highly recommend stopping in if you ever find yourself in Victor. Antiques, lore, gifts, jewelry, and so much more await you. And of course... Milo ❤”

“f you come to Cripple Creek, I definitely recommend stopping at Maudie’s Incredible Emporium. And honestly, it's not just what's inside the store that makes this place interesting. You're standing inside the 1896 J.S. Neall Building, a building connected to Cripple Creek's Gold Rush history. J.S. Neall operated an assay office here, where gold from the mines was tested and valued. Today, instead of miners bringing in gold hoping they've struck it rich, you have visitors walking through these doors looking for their own treasures. And that's what makes Maudie's so cool. You've got antiques, local artwork, handmade items and unique gifts, all inside a piece of Cripple Creek history. If you like finding places that are a little different from the typical tourist stop, I'd definitely put Maudie's on your Cripple Creek list.”
