The following is an example of why I never shop at DSW. My daughter received a pair of boots for Christmas. They were purchased at DSW. She wanted to exchange them and found another pair that she liked at DSW. However, those were only available online. I purchased them for her and she planned to pay me back with the refund from the first pair of boots. However, when she returned those (even though she had a gift receipt), the employees told her that her only option was a store credit. Now my daughter will have to reimburse me out of pocket, thereby paying for her own Christmas present. She is not a shopper and has said she will not use the gift card and will most likely end up giving it away. There are thousands of shopping options thanks to the internet so there is NO reason for me to ever patronize a store that wastes my time and serves up hassles instead of customer satisfaction.

Betsy and Erin M were beyond wonderful and I hope DSW recognizes their employees. I was having a rough day and in short, Betsy was helpful, kind, and considerate. Thank you both for making me feel like our world is full of kind humans

I love the selection of shoes and great deals you can find on the clearance rack. Aside from that, the customer service here has evolved into loss prevention. I was approached by an employee who insisted on looking in my purse and shopping bag. After I allowed her to do so, I didn't get an apology. It's unfortunate because DSW used to be my favorite indulgent shopping experience.

Lots to choose from. I received great help finding what I wanted. I bought 2 pairs. They were a bit $$, but the quality was so much better than the big box store it was well worth it.

This is my favorite shoe store. The best brands, classic and elegant models and fair prices.
On this occasion I bought a pair of women's ankle boots, very nice burgundy color, I paid $69 dollars plus tax from the Jessica Simpson brand. The service was friendly.

Will never shop here again. Bought a pair of shoes and they hurt my feet. Tried to return, but they said they wouldn't take them back because I didn't have my Receipt. But I did use my membership when I bought them..

Good products and selection. I didn't appreciate the worker insinuating I had to give her my email address if I needed to return the shoes. Now I get constant emails. Bad business practice.
