Talked to a really cool guy on the phone who was adamant they could hook me up with the correct power supply I needed and then in person was met with general disregard and rudeness when I asked for help finding the power supply. I wasn’t really expecting any sort of professional help at a chain store but the guy was rude the second I started talking to him.

We used to like coming in here to buy gear and play guitars but they must've recently enforced harsh theft training on average employees because my boyfriend and I get questioned everytime we walk in there. Like straight up until harassment because they think that everybody is stealing? For example, my boyfriend went the other day and said the first 5 minutes he spent being loudly questioned by the employee for being "seen a lot not buying anything". We have never stolen and we choose not to shop somewhere to be interrogated. I'll do 90 on the highway if I need that.

Christian is full of knowledge and super helpful when picking out a guitar. He helped me out big time; making sure I was taken care of, finding what I need and making sure I got the best experience. Thank you Christian

Malcom gave me the best experience I've had in a long time in any music store I've ever been to. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and personalable as well. He valued my time and gave me great service and I even learned something new about the Amp I ordered. Folks this is the best Guitar Center in Colorado hands down, best service, best advice, and most importantly the best staff. Thank you Guitar Center for the great experience, you have some awesome employees working there who really understand great customer service. 🤘🔥

Quite a strange experience...
I wanted to buy a practice amp for my electric guitar and was deciding between the Boss Katana Gen3 100 and the Positive Grid Spark 2. My plan was to check them out in person before making a purchase. The Guitar Center website indicated that this particular store had both models in stock, so I decided to drive 50 miles to visit.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try out either amp. Whether this was due to a desynchronization between the website and the store inventory, or some other issue, I can't say for sure. Either way, it was a definite problem. Interestingly, the website still states that both amps are available for testing.
The main issue with the store, and the reason for my low rating, was that the staff made no effort to help. They didn’t listen to me, didn’t try to understand what I was looking for, and didn’t attempt to resolve the issue or locate the amps (even if they didn’t have them unboxed before I arrived). They literally did nothing. Instead, they claimed that the first Spark was the Spark 2. I specifically asked, “Are you sure this is the Spark 2?” They replied, “Yes,” but I no longer trusted them by that point. I decided to verify for myself and found out it was actually the first Spark. It felt like they were trying to mislead me—whether it was intentional or just careless, I can’t say.
As for the Boss Katana, it was a similar situation. Despite repeatedly stating that I needed the Katana 100, they wanted me the Katana 50 instead for some reason.
Overall, it was a horrible experience and a complete waste of time.

Was treated rudely by a staff member. Told me I had to ask to take down a guitar from the 2nd row, only something that I’ve done for years. I expressed my feelings to another worker who said that wasn’t their policy and that he’d go talk to him and that there must have been some misunderstanding. Nope, I understood exactly what the power tripper said clearly. Nobody ever came back to clear things up with me about the situation so I take that as my money isn’t wanted here. Lost a 2k sale today. I’ve purchased several guitars from these folks over the years but no longer…. You’ve lost another customer to the online way of doing business. No power tripping on the web. Sweetwater here I come, and they’ll even throw something for my sweet tooth in the delivery.

I am a crazy indecisive bastard when it comes to trying out new badass musical instruments with a 45 day return period…
Nonetheless, MALCOLM, SEAN, & TAYLOR were insanelyyyy accommodating & absolute pleasure to work thru my miles of long receipts.
Guitar center executives / management take note! 🎵 these gentlemen ALL deserve a 122% raise and bare minimum deserve a higher quality Hoover Vacuum cleaner! to do their jobs more effectively. Plastic wont due in a showeoom as nice as theirs! 💁♂️ 🎸

We had a great experience at Guitar Center Arvada. Taylor (sp?) and Martin were *very* patient with my 15 year-old daughter buying her first electric guitar. She was overwhelmed and indecisive and they were nothing but helpful and attentive. Exceptional service for what could have been an intimidating experience. Thanks.

Koa Mini. Great sound and that "punch" that is indigenous to Taylor's. Koa is so warm and beautiful. One piece of advice, I know it is easier to order online but go to the store. They set it up adjust the neck, and they are all musicians and nice people that deserve our business and our praise! Shout out to Chris in Arvada! Great Job, Great Service.
