“I’m compelled to write in because I popped in yesterday to grab some last minute needs for a dinner party and was just absolutely blown away by the owner’s kindness and customer service. (Which is not new for the last three years that we’ve been going here!! But just really above and beyond yesterday.)
I was frantically trying to find some items and asked for help, and he took the time to walk me over to show me where to find two different items. Even as a small line grew, he made sure I knew that he would wait for me to grab yet another item. After I checked out, I realized I forgot to give him my loyalty number. As I made the “I’m an idiot” face, he asked if there was anything else he could do. I mumbled that I forgot to give him my phone number for the points. No problem! He was able to punch it in right after.
It’s these little moments of kindness in the small business world that really stick out against the more sterile big box places. Our dog Lemonade (yellow labradoodle) even loved your store so much that she would always try to pull us into the parking lot on our morning walks to snag a treat from you.
To the owners — you guys ROCK. Whenever my fiancé and/or I pop in, we are always so happy to see a wider variety of offerings than a typical smaller liquor store. From the “usuals” to a more curated selection for craft beers and various cocktail ingredients, it’s clear that you put so much thought into your business.”
