“I attended YWAM Denver in 2013. I want to start by saying that (at the very least) when I was was there for my DTS and my secondary school God was in fact moving and working in and through this place! God changed my life there and I am so grateful for my time the staff put into serving and teach me! I made many beautiful friendship and learned many valuable lessons. Here is a general breakdown of my time there; we had a quiet time every morning (it may have been every other morning, I can't quite remember) for and hour or so. We had worship 3 times a week for somewhere close to an hour. It was a beautiful time of seeking God heart and singing praises and we felt comfortable worshipping Jesus however our heart led us. I honestly miss that time of worship 10 years later all of the time. We had a guest teacher come ever week and speak on a subject (I.E. The father heart of God, the holy spirit, ect) and they spoke to us for that whole week. We had chores after classes. Each of us had an assigned zone (kitchen, grounds, housekeeping, ect) and we all worked together to keep the base going. Then dinner, free time, and lights out. We were free to leave the base at any point that we were not otherwise obligated. Now I will speak on the negative aspects of my time. I mostly hated the chores, but I was 18 and had absolutely no work ethic. I now understand the value and purpose behind it. I was in trouble a few different times with the staff, but that was because I broke the rules that were clearly communicated. I did not get along with every staff member, but that's humanity. Some personalities clash some of the teaching I believe was not correct theology, and I would even dare to say it was potentially harmful. But we were ALWAYS told to check everything we are taught with the bible. We were taught to make sure we were submitting ourselves to God's words and Theo Holy spirits guidance. And I will say that most everything I believe was on point. Only a few things I didn't believe were biblically founded. For the people who did not do well there, or had a vastly negative experience, from what I saw and experienced it was due to the fact that there are rule (not drugs or alcohol at all, no intimate relationships with the opposite sex that was not previously formed, not sex outside of marriage) and some people do not like being told they are not allowed to do something that they want to do. Not the staffs fault. And yes. It's a YWAM base run by humans who make mistakes and learn and grow. Yes it's not going to be perfect, but neither is the church. We are all in process,and I am so grateful for the people who sacrifice their comforts and time to come along side youth and try to help guide them in their journey with Christ! I loved so many stuff members and my time there was such a beautiful start to adulthood!”

“Cool place. The 3rd party sub contractor that was hired to disassemble an event was horrible. The employees were using drugs in the portable toilets, and the owner of the company did not seem to care when confronted. May want to do a little more research when hiring 3rd party contractors, or possibly go with traditional temp agencies. They always seem safe and reliable. All around I love the venue, it is a fixture of Denver as is the Coliseum. I love it and will definitely return!”
“What an incredibly organization! I have been enjoying their greenhouse events for yearsbut it wasn't until I had a newborn in March during covid that I signed up for their boxes. They have been a LIFE SAVER! They include fresh local eggs and produce, amazing bread and even other pantry staples. I have only needed to order groceries twice in 5 months thanks to their delivery. I just wanted to say thank you for helping this little family out during a difficult summer. “When my daughter needed surgery, we stayed here. Not all people who worked or volunteered here were friendly, but they were very helpful and kind. I'm very grateful that they helped my family, and I will never forget their kindness. They have a wonderful setup, and it was definitely a home away from home. Mostly, I was only there at night while my hubby and Son were there all the time because I was with my daughter during the daytime. What I saw of the place was very nice and clean. I would recommend that family and friends try to stay there if, God forbid, their children are in need of medical attention.”

There was a lot more to the real Margaret Brown as compared to the Molly Brown film. The house has been restored to its early 20th Century appearance. We spent almost two hours on the tour---we could have spent even more time.”
“If your in Colorado the Red Rocks is a MUST see! It was absolutely beautiful! My brother was in from out of town so I took him here and he was amazed with the drive there and was in awe when we got there and seen the Red Rocks. I've been to concerts there and the sound that bounces off the rocks is a sound you will never experience unless you book a concert. Plenty of parking with park people driving around if you forget where you park your car. Yes.. I forgot what lot I parked in and they drove me around for an hour until we found it. Gave him a big tip and Thanked them for being there to help me.”
