The range officer is really chill and hasn’t give me any issues, they allow controlled rapid fire, always answer any questions and don’t really be all in your business to much. We didn’t go here because it was the closest to our house (it is), we went here because we read the reviews of every shop in Denver and knew that Alec and high country armory was the best place to buy a gun and learn how to shoot it”
“This place is great, I have brought my friends and family here, I have even tolled me bosses about this place too. The firearms and ammunition prices are awesome. Something awesome is not only do that LEOs get the blue line deal but so does it for Armed security does as well. I wish a place like this was up and running back when I was working Armed Security. They are also a Glock dealer so that helps with the price especially if you’re looking for a Service firearm, Plus they helped me out when one of my Glocks was having issues and helped me get taken care of. I tell my customers to come and buy as well as businesses partners who’s armed officers need gear. I was sad to see that they were temporary closed on google. However i hope that they will be back and open agin here soon. Best wishes to the staff.”
“I don't even know where to begin. So first off this place is amazing. It has a great and respectful staff all around. This was me and wife first time going there and it was just amazing. Not only we're they helpful but even help us pick out the right handguns for us. They let us go down to the range which was amazing well kept and very clean. It was great got to test out 3 guns me and my wife found the right guns for us. Belive it or not we both pick the guns they recommended. They felt great shooting and handling the staff kept coming down and checking in with us. Making sure we had everything or if we needed anything if that not 5 Star survivors I don't know what is. But with all that said if you are thinking about buying a gun or a first time buyer I highly recommend you stop by and check them out. I promise you won't be disappointed.

“I stopped in, on happenstance....had been notified that my rental was going on the market for sale. I had purchased a couple handguns and a 22 long rifle some years back, and happened to have them in the trunk that day....I stopped in, and asked if they were interested. Bring them in!! I did! Warren looked them over, and admittedly they were old, and only display wall hangings, in my house. I was asked, how much are you looking for? $100, I asked. Done, he said.
Several weeks later, I came across a very early metal box labeled gun cleaning kit...it came with my original purchase of the three gun set....I knew it belonged with those handguns, so drove by again, and donated it to Warren, as it should be!

My previous review was from several years ago. It was five-star then and five-star today.
I came in today to sell an old rifle. The staff were wonderful. They offered me a very fair price and were totally helpful throughout the process.
I am a liberal gun-owner and shooter. I love this place. These are good people who care about running a top-shelf operation.
I will be back.
My son and I went to the 5280 Armory today to shoot. It was an outstanding experience. The people moved a large crowd of shooters into the range quickly. Everyone working there was kind an helpful. I do not understand negative reviews. I'll be going back to 5280 Armory to shoot and to train.”

“Went in looking for something specific, and John was super friendly and helpful and never made me feel pressured to buy, but rather recommended a range where I could possibly test out the specific gun I was looking at but was unsure about. He also made me want to shop at this location specifically in the future rather than the one closer to home, just because he had the best customer service, and not just with myself but with everyone I saw him interact with. These days it's hard to get such great service anywhere so when I find it somewhere, I stick with the location. Will definitely be shopping at this location from now on.”
