“Good location, rude overnight person when checking in, and the windows are incredibly thin. The gondola doing checks at 530 sounds like an alarm clock.
A little run down, but like other reviews noted, you know that coming in.

“Very affordable for this area and very comfortable. Even the sheets on the bed are of very high quality - Comphy brand utilized in 5 star resorts and spa.
The couple who own the resort are very attentive to their guests and give superior customer service. Both are very nice people who we enjoy having conversations with.
Many of the rooms have a view of mountains and trees. This is not a standard hotel rather a lodge with features like rooms with fireplaces. It is not large. There is a pool and gameroom. The Winter Park ski resort is about 20 minutes to get to. We also got some very good advice from the owners about where to park. There is one shuttle to the ski resort in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both families and couples stay here.
It is worth it book a room just for the breakfast. You make your selections by 8 pm the day before. Absolutely homemade delicious level food and served graciously.”

“Play set out extra towels soap and toiletries just in case you needed them. The place was very clean and updated nice stay. We had a group of 30 of us for a reunion. Everybody loved it!”

“We drove out to Colorado from New York for a 2 week camping adventure with our dog. We slept in our rooftop tent, and the dog slept in his crate in the truck.
On our way out of Colorado, we stopped at this hotel, which provided us with the most refreshing, and much needed shower. We slept like babies after gallivanting around town, enjoying dinner and drinks. The night life of the town and walking distance to this hotel definitely made this extra desirable. If you go, you have to eat at the Thai Mexican place next door! Amazing.”
