The building is smaller then most post offices but it makes up by the atmosphere and quality of experience on the inside. It's in a very convenient location; & somehow, they are always stocked on the best stamps ?”

“Great experience today getting my passport renewed. Very quick and easy service. Front desk staff were delightful, personable, and I could tell they loved their jobs and coworkers. Loved seeing that when the USPS gets a lot of flack because it's a government institution usually known for less than stellar customer service. I received none of that today. I appreciate my local carriers, and thanks again for great service today!”

“Bhar did an exceptional service. I went there for passport service and at first I dont have my updated driver’s license with my new name (cant make a schedule at dmv because of real id applications) so she denied me though I have all other requirements based on the passport website. I understood since she’s only following the rules and doing her job. Later that day, she called me (i wasnt gonna answer that unknown number but i did) and said if I could come back since I have other requirements to move forward for passport application. Therefore, I went back that day and processed my application in timely manner, and within 2 weeks I got my passport even it’s not expedited.
Big thanks for your service and your help, I will come back for more passport application in the future. I dont usually do reviews but you deserve to be mentioned. :)”

“Post offices are tough places. Sometimes we (customers) are guilty of not getting exactly what we want how we want and we tend to have attitudes and then get upset when our attitudes are matched by the HUMAN employees that also may have had bad days.
I watched Noele deal with everyone with kindness and even people who tried to skip the line because they forgot a transaction (I am people) and she helped me. Everyone was very kind, open to help, and overall it was a great experience. You may not get perfect help every time, but I appreciate the good deeds!”
“I had to ship something out ASAP for work, and caught wind of this 15 minutes before this USPS closed. I came in, very flustered, and Annemarie (I hope I spelled that right!) was very helpful! “I’m writing this review based solely on Shirell! She is absolutely the BEST! There was an incredibly rude lady when we first walked in. We had a passport appointment for 3 people and I simply asked where to go. She snapped at me to go to the front and said “I’m leaving”. And that, she sure did. With a full line of people waiting to mail packages and 5 passport appointments, the rude lady walked out and left Shirell with it all. Well, she wasn’t needed anyways! Shirell got the line down and handled all of our passports- WITH a smile on her face! Shirell is professional, personable, diligent, and the Trumbull Post Office is so lucky to have her! Thank you, Shirell!”
“What a pleasure it was to deal with this Post Office. I had a problem with a package that was addressed wrong. They found the package and pulled it off the truck before it was returned. they then delivered it to the correct address. Never once did I get a negative vibe or was made to feel I was not important. I whish more people were like these employees that helped me.”
“This past weekend one of our packages was mistakenly delivered to another address. The package was a dress for my daughter’s homecoming dance. After reaching out and trying to locate the package, the postal office and all their workers truly got together and worked hard on making this right I have a happy 16 year-old at home, all thanks to them not giving up. “The rating to this post office is inaccurate af, should be a 5, and some people shouldn’t be allowed to rate businesses especially if they don’t know how to spell fgs!!! This is BY FAR THE BEST post office around!! Everyone from the, managers Melody and Joe (assisted me regarding a missing package) to the front Troitenaya, Sandra, and Ortega (who work hard and deal with the public with integrity and grace, as a team)!! They are family to me because I choose to go to THIS location instead of the horrible Derby post office. I get all of my business done here and they always know what to do and how to do it. I absolutely ADORE them and will stand by them! I have personally seen ALL of them deal with the “lovely” public and let me tell you, it’s not easy but somehow they remain professional and kind. Never have I ever seen them be “rude” or any other ridiculous lie I have read. Don’t believe everything you see especially by people who aren’t reliable sources. I go to this location at least 3-6 times a week so I’m a reliable source. Trust me! I only wish they had a self package check-in to help when the line is busy. THAT is my only wish and it’s not a complaint js it would help (but it is kinda small so I understand) lol. Thanks Ansonia post office family for all of your hard work and all you do!!!!”
