Avon Old Farms Hotel offers a wonderful and amazing experience with a distinct old-school feel and beautiful old New England decor. Guests describe the food as excellent, amazing, and yummy, with a great included breakfast and bar. The staff is extremely attentive, pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The hotel provides a lot of things to do, including an outdoor pool, basketball court, workout room, sauna, and games like ping pong, corn hole, chess, and checkers. Many find the place warm, inviting, and full of history. However, some rooms, particularly in the motel section, can be dated, loud from road noise, and have uncomfortable, squeaky beds. A few guests noted not many outlets and that some rooms lack a strong scent. While the amenities are well-liked, occasional closures of the restaurant and bar have been a downside. Overall, it is considered a nice and beautiful place for a stay.

Fine enough place, but room was freezing, as drapes kept heat between windows + drapes, instead of circulating into the room. Also, the bathroom heater was broken.

Had to be there for work reasons during the snow storm. They were very welcoming and kept in high spirits in spite of the weather conditions.
