“I had to move my mom out of her apartment because she was very ill. It was a spur of the moment decision to hire a moving company. So I did what we all do - we search on google until we find a place that has good reviews. Bert’s was the first to come up in my search. By reading what other people had said about them it made me reach out and schedule a date. The scheduling was super easy. I gave a list of items and, Idona the scheduler, gave me an estimated cost which came in way under. On moving day the movers that came were prompt and super nice. I had lost my mom the day before so moving her things out of her place wasn’t easy. There was a small entertainment center that I couldn’t bring to my house so I was going to donate it. They put it in my car for me. Once we got to my home they asked me where everything was to go. They set it all up and asked if it was ok and if I was happy the way things looked. They even asked me if I wanted them to move the existing furniture in my home back to the way it was. They were super careful and they didn’t damage one thing. I have used other companies before and I have ended up with busted tv’s, sofas, mirrors etc. Not once did those companies ever refund me any money or even so much an apology. If I ever need to move again I would definitely use Bert’s. I want to thank the men that came out that day personally and I’m so sorry I can’t remember your names. It was an incredibly emotional time for me. You made a really hard day go very smoothly for me and I’m so sorry it was like one of the hottest days of the summer!
