“What a blessing these guys are!! I Was driving up to Bethel to have lunch with friends. My check engine light went on. I had a half hour to get this checked out. Walked in, met Tom at the front desk, professional, knowledgeable and kind. He told me to pull around back, another guy plugged the computer into the car, pulled up a couple numbers. We had our answer. I live in SC. If I had a few more days I would have felt very comfortable leaving my car for them to fix. That’s hard to say these days, especially as a woman. “My car wouldn’t start one morning and after getting a jump (3 different times) I walked into RJ’s shop frustrated after spending an entire morning trying to find someone to fix my car. I kept getting the same answer from the dealership and all the other places I called— it would be at least a week and maybe two before they could even look at it. I was greeted by the very friendly owner (Bob) who apologetically said he was in the middle of replacing someone’s transmission and wouldn’t be able to diagnose the problem until the next day. He and his son are a two man operation. He very graciously offered a ride home. And when he called me the next morning he confirmed what we believed was wrong. He said he and his son stayed late the night before and got it fixed and I could come pick it up. Fortunately this was the first issue I’ve ever had with my car and hopefully the last for a good while, but friendliness, great customer service and a job well done have ensured I’ll be a return customer the next time I need a mechanic.”

“I needed emergency hood repairs on my 2008 Mazda 5 involving replacement of the hood release cable and hood latch. After consulting with a local body shop, whose owner claimed they would have to back-order the parts through a Mazda parts dealer; involving a wait of 5-10 days before delivery; I decided to consult with Charlie about my repair dilemma.Lo and behold !;- Charlie was able to order the needed parts and do the required repairs within 24 hours and charged a reasonable fee for parts and labor and was respectful of my questions and concerns about my car and was happy to provide an honest estimate of my total bill before doing the repairs.I will definitely be using his services again as finding an honest and experienced mechanic who will work with you to provide the best and most cost-effective approach to repairing your car is a tough call in this economy and is something I value and appreciate asa woman who’s been ‘taken for a ride’ more than once by other shops.Thank you, Charlie !”

“Love EFI! I have been going to them literally for decades. You can tell all these guys really care about cars. They all enjoy what they do and you can tell how much they want to help customers enjoy their cars. They are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. Recently I had a suspension issue that was going to keep me from getting on the track. They diagnosed it, rushed parts, and were able to get the car fixed in a very short timeline so I could get out for a track day. They are the only place that has ever worked on my car, and will be the only place to work on my car in the future. Highly recommend them!”
