“I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude to Alvana and Jenn, who assisted my son at the West Hartford Quest office located at 970 Farmington Ave, West Hartford, Connecticut, on May 18th. My son has profound autism and is nonverbal. He is extremely fearful of needles and blood tests have always been a huge challenge.
On the morning of May 18th, we visited the Quest office at the West Hartford center. Initially, my son was very anxious and uncooperative. Alvana and Jenn were incredibly patient and understanding. “I just left Quest in newington and I had to get a good amount of bloodwork done . I knew I should’ve asked his name but the man who took my blood ….. he was absolutely amazing. He talked with me through everything, made sure I was okay before leaving and i mean he was just genuinely so nice. You know getting blood work done isn’t the prettiest or most comfortable thing to have done but he made sure it went as smoothly as possible. Thank you for your kind words and for actually caring. The world needs more people like this . (I know it’s just blood work, but you never know the kind of day someone is having . Be mindful !)”
