We have been a member of this credit union for years. We have never had any issues doing business there. The staff at the Stafford Ave. location are great and very friendly. They are always so helpful. Would highly recommend joining this credit union.

Worst Federal Credit Union. Such a joke. They steal from you, your money and your time. Go elsewhere

The app never worked on my phone despite it being a more recent phone(IPhone), always being updated, and always having the most updated version of the app. The bank didn't fix the app or address the problem at all, instead they said that it was my fault and to get a new phone. Every time I went into the app it failed to open and would kick me out before I could even view any information. And this is not just an issue I have experienced. Other family members who use the bank have also experienced this and no solution or help was provided. The website is extremely difficult to navigate. Since I can't use the app on my phone, anytime I had to do anything relating to my bank account I have to use the website. It is hard to find basic information such as routing number and account number. Every time I tried to do anything on the website I got so frustrated that I had to step away. There is no search tool to help you find anything, and their hours make it hard to get in contact with them. If you hover over any tabs in the website, they give no information about what the tab includes, which makes it even harder to know what you are looking for.

Failed to inform me when I was making a payment that the account was at risk of going past 30 days. I have a credit score of over 700, two homes and have never once had any payment go past 30 days in 15+ years and they’re refusing to assist.

Despite having a credit score of over 700 and making 331 consecutive on-time payments I found out that I inadvertently was late on a payment, despite physically going to the branch to pay a week earlier. Rather than assist, my credit score dropped over 100 points because the bank tellers can’t assist with something as basic as saying there’s a remaining balance.

This First Bristol Federal Credit Union allows the tellers to put 2 day holds on people's small check deposits without telling the customer they put a two day hold on the deposit going into their checking account. I made a deposit of 3 checks one $200.00, one $50.00, and one $8.62. Any multiple check deposits you put into your account for a total amount over $200.00 I guess they put a hold on the money over $200.00 no mater how small a single check is written for. When I worked at a Bank any single check over $200.00 did have a hold on the amount over $200 in that one single check. Not on multiple check smaller than $200.00 and when you put a hold on someone's deposit the teller had to tell the customer. When I called to make a complaint the manager said the teller doesn't have to tell the customer of any 2 day hold. This is ridiculous and when they overdraft someone's account because they are not telling them there is a hold on their deposit I'm sure they will not refund your bank fees. I feel this tactic of collecting fees from customers on this shady practice that they allow is not professional. I bet the Banking Commission does not support these shady tactics. Oh I forgot to mention that I deposited the checks on 12/29/18 and the hold finally came off on 1/2/19 after I complained that this was more than a 2 day hold. I was initially told the hold was coming off 1/3/19. This is more than a 2 day hold.
