Experience was absolutely abysmal. They had a server issue that they told me they would investigate and resolve. 3 days later and they haven’t investigated anything and every time I call I get a different reason why they can’t file my taxes.

0 stars need to be an option This place should be investigated. The old women who rushed through my taxes(because she was almost off work) really messed up my taxes. Didn’t explain or let me read anything just forced me to hit the sign button. Didn’t get back a single dollar of the $1000 “estimated” In short: Over priced Under qualified Rude To the rude old lady, time to retire

Worked with Michelle Brock this year and I will not be back. This “tax pro” couldn’t figure out how to do our taxes correctly on January 29, so our federal taxes were rejected. That day (January 29) I paid $205 to H&R Block. OVER TWO MONTHS of calling Michelle with no response until less than a week before the deadline when she finally decided to call us back. She said she finally figured out how to do her job so she was ready to file our taxes again 2 business days before the deadline. I signed into the website to approve it but it wouldn’t let me move past H&R Block requesting another $295 from me. First Michelle said they “never got my original payment,” then magically it changed to “the original payment was refunded.” I foolishly paid the $295 because we needed to file our taxes before it was too late. Michelle claimed she would escalate my issue to her supervisor and they’d call me the next day. It’s been 2 weeks and nothing, even though I’ve messaged Michelle multiple times in the website now and I’ve called the office, but nobody answers. Convenient how in that 2 month timeframe where she wasn’t calling us back, the fee went from $205 to $295. Now I’m out $500 to this scam of a company and they’re completely ignoring my calls. Thanks for absolutely nothing!!

Mr. Hutchins, the tax specialist, is highly educated and aware of all the things associated with my taxes. He even remembers things that I have forgotten, and double checks everything. He has excellent advice. In addition he is very efficient and personable and makes the whole tax experience seamless and pleasant.

How is it that my horrible experience from LAST YEAR is bleeding into this year? I asked for a CPA last year and was told that Bonzena was a "small business expert". The time spent there took entirely way too long, and she wasn't familiar with photography related business at all. I feel, especially now (after receiving an 8812 form from the IRS), that my taxes were done incorrectly. I called this location a few weeks ago to ask if someone could review my taxes from last year to verify they were done correctly, and to possibly help me out with the 8812 form. The woman said yes, but she also told me there would be a fee. Why?? I thought the second look was free. Why on earth would I spend more money on something that I feel was done incorrectly? No, thank you.I hired an actual CPA to do my taxes this year. Instead of me looking at my routing and account numbers, I foolishly went based on what was on my tax prep forms from last year. That's totally on me, however, whatever numbers were entered in on my paperwork were incorrect. Therefore, my tax refund has ended up in the wrong place. It appears the numbers put in belong to the facilitator bank used by H&R Block (preparation fee withholding). I've not confirmed this yet, as I am now awaiting a phone call to figure out what my next steps are while I am in full induced panic mode. Funny thing is, when I spoke to a wonderful rep named Amanda on their customer service line, she had my bank's information correct.I truly hope that the tax expert calling me this afternoon can help me troubleshoot this. As for this location, is was the most horrible tax experience I have ever had. I will never return to an H&R Block ever again. If you are a small business owner, do yourself a solid and hire an actual CPA. You want it done right the first time.

They told me that they had no payment plan for the $406.00 I owed them for service. It took 2 weeks for them to find a solution & use my state refund for payment. All & all I'm still satisfied.

Mr. H is very knowledgeable and his attention to details is a plus. He was thorough and offered his advise for future filing as well.
