I don’t understand how you can honestly be that picky and only take what you guys feel are name brand and worth it it’s a consignment shop for children that’s ridiculous brought in a whole basket and got 12 bucks that’s crazy and it’s not even about the money it’s about yall just being greedy and ungrateful

Extremely rude staff, poor customer service… had a question about the points system rather than answering, all three of the people behind the counter had terrible attitudes. Still never answered why my points never accumulate,!they were just dismissive. Then when making payment I handed the young lady Amy a $20 bill and she gave me back change for $10 when I corrected it and said I handed her a 20 she threw my receipt at me. Slammed the register and walked away. Very simple mistake that an “I’m sorry” could have fixed. Do Better!!

They are way to picky I had went through all of my babies clothes I found all the matching put them together as they like, I thrown away, any of the stains ripped the clothes I had brought today were like brand new and good brands and it took 30 minutes to tell us they only kept 3 things ans gave us 3$ they seriously need to be better on what they would take and wouldn’t it’s like they pick and if they want to go through it or not so not happy

Went to shop and bring my child’s clothing to give to them, i felt they highly lowballed us and i get the store needs to make money but still, they told me they don’t take Gerber baby clothing ( which i had 3 items of) and outfits should be together cool i get it, but they barely took anything which i mainly had name brand clothing, cloud island and carters clothing. your better off selling clothes online or giving them to someone who’s having a baby if you don’t wanna get lowballed.

I was cleaning out my baby's stuff since we had so much, plenty of NWT Carters items that just were never worn. Brand new book gift set etc. Summer and spring items, outfits, everything. Which they took all of that. I brought in a nearly full bag of items. I was hoping to get at least $25 (which is on the lower end for brand new items) for these items. They gave me just under $18. I understand the store has to make a profit but that's WAY too low and a real bummer especially for alot of NWT Carters items especially in this economy. They are going to at least triple what they gave me on the items I brought in. Again, I accepted due to the fact that I'm cleaning out and wanted some quick cash, didn't want to do the work of selling elsewhere right now, but in future I will not be consigning here or dropping off anything. I would recommend for shopping their racks were packed and full, but I didn't want to shop there today. Also they do not take items in reusable bags, which I didn't know, but they did take my items and said use a storage bin next time which was nice of them.
**Do not consignment or drop off here - very low ball offers for your items, you're better off going to Kool Kidz Consignment in Watertown or selling on Mercari, Poshmark, Ebay, or Kidizen apps**

I’ve been bringing my toddlers lightly used clothing and shoes to this particular Once Upon A Child for a year now, in Bristol. They claim to take “all seasons” yet when you go to resell the clothes, they DO NOT take all seasons.They’ll tell you that what they “buy” from you is whatever is in season RIGHT NOW or light wear and tear when my children have worn something literally ONCE and without any stains. I have washed the clothing and they have absolutely no stains on them whatsoever! It’s absolutely ridiculous of what they’ll actually accept. They’ll pass on shoes, winter boots and clothing that have barely been worn, but will accept things that are torn up and stained and things with holes in them!I have called and spoken to numerous people that work there and have specifically asked if they accept winter clothing even when it’s getting warmer out and they have all said yes. So if you say yes, they keep all of the winter clothing in the back, why deny ALL SEASON clothing when it’s clearly a lie?

Came in with clothes, they told me they don't accept anything without a tote. Ironically, their entire store is FILLED with hundreds of totes that they refuse to sell or use themselves. I went through the items made sure nothing was stained or used. Some still with tags. They gave me half the clothes back, claimed there was a stain on the swing we offered (there was not), gave us back a BRAND NEW winter jumper, and took 14/27 items for a total of $17. Funny how 1/2 of their clothes on the rack are obviously stained, ripped or beyond used.Don't sell here. Sell it yourself online.

If you are a person of color do not shop at this store. The quality of items I bring to this store and the ones they take ridiculously. The amount they gave the counterpart in front of me for rags and target clothing laughable. Let’s not get started about how they are watching you around the store for used clothing. I will never shop here and I will not even met this store to no one.

I always find something here for my grandson. Clothes or toys rarely have I left empty handed. Some things a bit over priced for used but most items are in like new condition. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Awesome selection. Organized well. Expensive. No sales or deals that I noticed. In the 15 years that I've been going here they only bought once from me and they were toys still in the packages. They have denied buying clothes many times. Never once actually. So don't even try to sell anything. I think they probably just have a huge inventory. Great employees. Helpful and kind. So glad they are still there!

Been going here for about 15 years and this is my overall review. The selection is fine, never had a problem with that. If I was rating the employees only, I'd go with a 2. Some are good, some you seem to be bothering.

I was the only ethnic person shopping and the only one being followed ( put two and two together) i even went as far as going again and the same thing happen. I even caught the manager rewinding the cameras when i left and came back.

Drove 20 minutes to sell at this location. The woman said they were not purchasing today due to a sale. This was not listed on their site and I went during the “buying hours” that were listed on the site. Complete waste of my time.

Went to once upon a child first today at 10:45 for the girl outside to literally watch me take the items out of my car and walk up to the door and say sorry we can’t take you until 11. I went back at 2:30 with a tote bag of clothes for the rudest manager to say let me see your ID and say we don’t accept totes you can come back with a bin as if she ruled the world didn’t even make eye contact with me or anything the whole store is dirty and the staff is rude and usless
