Shop here only if you have PLENTY of time. This place has zero concern about your time. Slow AF. Did not meet expectations where customer service is concerned.

My husband went to Pine St location on 1/25/23 morning to get me certain burrito wraps. He could not find it so he asked the young woman in the deli named Cel, she told him where to look and he went but could not find it so he came back to get the cold cuts, she asked if he found it and he said no. She actually went and got them and brought them to him. She was very personable and went way out of job to do that for him. He said he was very impressed with her customer service attitude. She is a very good rep for Stop and Shop service and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves, Carol Visconti

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The store has gone downhill in the worst way. Dirty, run down and the shelves are never stocked even before the pandemic. Don't even get me started on the rude employees at the deli counter. It's embarrassing how bad it's gotten in the past 3 years. I now go 20 minutes out of my way to the Southington store. Do your self a favor and go anywhere but here.

This is a poorly run Stop And Shop. Always out of items. Don't seem like they ever restock anything there. And the deli always takes forever and you are lucky if you find anyone at seafood counter. Meat is limited. Never have anything in stock like filets or roasts. Locally it's a go to type place but as far as a store it's terrible. Also the employees are rude and looks like they are always staring you down like you are about to rob the place. Which is interesting considering you can never get help when ya need it!

Terrible store. I have never had such a bad experience in a Stop and Shop and I've been in quite a few. Employees all seemed edgy; the seafood person screwed up my order; the customer service desk was CLOSED!; Stop and Shop gift cards were out of stock, except for $100 cards, in a Stop and Shop! Really just shocked by the whole experience. I left my groceries and left the store after waiting for a long time to check out while the person in front of me could not get someone to help her with self check issue. Stop and Shop regional manager, if you're reading this, take action. My Newington Ave. West Hartford home store is the complete opposite, friendly, well staffed, attentive, this store gives the brand a bad name.

Whole Foods prices with a Walmart flair. The organic/health food section in particular is criminally overpriced. Some (but certainly not all!) of the staff come off as rude and unapproachable. Overall it's just an expensive, mediocre grocery store. Great for grabbing one or two things in a pinch but I'd never do all my shopping here- who could even afford to? Take your business to Shop Rite where the price tags are just a tad more reasonable.

I think people forgot how to read! The bottle dispense room says 2 bags only yet they are going in there with 5 bags or more. Stop and Shop needs to put a person out there again to control it!!! Apparently people are getting dumber because of Covid.

I usually love this store as it is smaller and always very well organized. However, I was shocked yesterday afternoon (7/16/20) when I went in wearing my mask as required, and no longer found any one way designated aisles as they have used since the pandemic began. Every single one had been taken up off the floors. I asked an employee why this was the case and was told that they had cleaned their floors recently so the arrows had come up. I asked if they were going to be put back down and I was told "well, it wasn't really enforced anyway." I cannot believe this store's management would think this is no longer necessary when we are still in the middle of a pandemic. In fact, CT's number have started to go up again. I will no longer feel safe shopping at this store and it disappoints me they are chosen to ignore such simple guidelines of social distancing and having customers stand six feet apart in lines. This is no time to be complacent.

Our thanks to Amanda in the flower department for the beautiful flower arrangements she did for us on March 16, 2019. We had a baby shower at Marilyn's Pub in Bristol and the beautiful pink arrangements were perfect. Amanda was so nice to work with, friendly, accommodating and went the extra mile for us. Amanda is a true asset to your store.

This review is based off the bathroom alone. This bathroom is hands down the most disgusting bathroom I have ever seen. I've seen abandoned gas station bathrooms cleaner than this. You could smell the bathroom from 15 feet away. That awful urine smell. The close you got, the more overwhelming it became. I wouldn't even change my son in the bathroom. It was god awful. Toilets covered with any number of bodily functions that seemed to have been there for days. Gross gross gross. I can't go back to this grocery store ever with the image of that bathroom in my head. Yuck.
