“This is one of my favorite hikes in New Fairfield. It has a large waterfall with a lot of different points to look at it and explore. Lots of wildlife in the area, including salamanders, fish, deer and more. I’ve gone early in the morning and in the early evening before sunset and parked by the barn by the road. Highly recommend anybody who is looking for a short loop, that is still a little bit challenging with some elevation changes.”
“Just had their Tuesday pasta dinner meal. It was delicious, and a deal for $12. A bowl of salad, bread, two meatballs, and all you can eat pasta. Highly recommend this.”
“Back in 2012 I went to check out a dog named Jester at the new Milford animal shelter and what I didn’t know was that I was going to meet my best friend that day. I was fortunate enough to have Jester (who I later renamed Blu) in my life for 14 years. This would not have happened without this organization and im incredibly proud of the work they’ve done for the community.”

“Nice facility. We are from out of town and recently attended an event here. They have a snack bar and drink machine. The only issue was their bathrooms were only for actual members. If someone traveled over an hour to get to this facility, I would think a restroom should be available to anyone attending. Someone should truly reconsider this need, especially for elderly visitors or children.”

“This nature preserve & and day camp is one of the hidden gems of New Milford. Professional leadership and loving counselors. The woods are quiet, with meandering trails, lots of riverfront for kids to splash in. And some easy to love friendly farm animals. Best nature experience you could give you child. Highly recommended!”
“Dropped off donations to their new location, 2 Park Lawn Dr Bethel. The GM helped take out the bags from my vehicle and move them inside. He took the time to explain their process to get suits to military personnel and allowed us to see their staging room. He was very pleasant and very grateful for the donation. The organization accepts cash donations to cover operating costs in addition to business attire donations. They also accepted clothes hangers and a clothing rack.”
