“Kohls in Waterbury has excellent customer service. Their associate are friendly & knowledgeable. I wish people would learn from the associate named Marie. She's a sweetheart ? she's kind & takes the time to listen to the customer. She's a reflection of impeccable customer service!!! She also goes out her way to greet customers even when she's busy checking out the people in front of her. Oh, I can't forget the associate at the Sephora station. I don't know her name, but I tell you...she was friendly & a great SALES PERSON!!!”
“Boscov's is my favorite department store. I buy all my clothes at their Meriden location. They always have a large selection of clothes always at a fair price. When you purchase something the Boscov's employees always put your purchase in the most beautiful, high quality Boscov's plastic bag. Boscov's is a total class act.”
“Monet at sephora is awesome. Despite being busy she helped me a lot with foundation matching and overall made me feel comfortable and welcome. All the sephora workers are great every time I go, but monet was extra today and saved me so much time and money showing me all the sales! (And i know they were very busy today with store duties!) I recommend this sephora. The staff here is always so awesome.
The other kohls staff outside of the sephora area are always so nice too. They're knowledgeable about the store and the products and I never have an issue here. Definetly my preferred kohls. Keep it up, customer service is hard but know there are consumers out there that appreciate good sales associates. It hurts to spend money but your staff makes it hurt less and has helped me save so many times with coupons, suggestions and product reviews to help me pick the right thing. Thanks!”

“I usually go to tj maxx once a week or so. Everyone is friendly and the prices are great. I was there today, (around 2 on Dec 12) and the line was SO long and only a few registers open. All registers need to be open around the holidays. I had to turn around and walk out because i couldn't wait 15minutes.”

“Today I was at Marshalls with my two young children. I had purchased a small suitcase and two comforter sets so everything was big and bulky. As I was walking out of the checkout line a very nice young man with an incredibly deep voice offered to help me. He was very polite and observant of the fact that I needed help. I sincerely appreciated it. Him simply carrying two comforter sets for me out to my car really help me out. I hope management gets this message because it was incredibly sweet and helpful. Just not the type of customer service that one gets these days anymore. So thank you.”

“This is an excellent place with lots of parking since almost nobody shops at Kohl's. Kohl's is convenient and takes Amazon returns, which never have a line.
There is Harbor Freight, where you can find the most comparable tools at Home Depot for half the price.
Then there is Aldi's. Aldi's is a German-owned grocery store owned by the same person who owns Trader Jo's. It is a streamlined, practical, and very cheap way to shop for organic vegetables, cheese, and meat, and I say this after years and years of shopping at Whole Foods. It is half the price compared to Whole Foods for not providing variety. The remarkable thing about Aldi's in Wallingford is that it is well-managed, and the clientele is respectful. The store is clean, and the carts are well-kept and smooth-running. You can check yourself out and get in and out of the store without meandering through aisles of useless stuff on sale that tempts you at the big grocery stores and wastes time. The only time you are waiting in line is during the peak hours of the weekend. I cannot say all Aldi's are well managed like Wallingford. West Hartford and Hamden do not have self-checkout, and the clientele differs.”
“Good selection of curtains and rugs. Plenty of other home decor items along with a few other finds. Fairly priced inventory with some items found to be aggressively discounted priced from time to time. You can find some nice clothes sometimes too and spend much less. Great place to browse and I usually end up picking up something without breaking the bank”

“Love Marshalls and always visit this store when I'm in CT. Received 5 star service from my cashier Terri today. I purchased 2 nightstands and one did not have a tag. Terri went out of her way to confirm whether or not the nightstands were on sale. However, a manager (Tim) rudely told her that the items were not on sale without checking. Fortunately for me, another manager followed up on Terri's request and guess what, the items were 20% off. This would have been a 5 star review if it weren't for Tim.”

“The amount of items in this location are quite indulging, I brought my hoes here last week and the huzz were delighted by the fond environment surrounding them, except for the ominous presence emitting from the backroom. And a stranflge oder of horse (thoroughbred american saddler) unrine? Seemed a little off in this type of establishment. I would not bring my dog here he said he wouldnt like it.

“Good selection of fun and quirky snacks and treats. Went in a Friday morning and the store was clean and shelves were being restocked. Plenty of options. Handbag and luggage section was tidy and well organized (by color). 7 snack items came to just under $38 including tax.”

Wendy has ample amounts of both, and Target was wise to put her in charge of a store. I have no doubt that she earns her position every day. She earned my business and respect in about 60 seconds. She actively listened and went above and beyond to address my issue. She proved the importance of what companies do when something goes wrong and how they empower someone in a position to make it right.”

“Very disorganized, the merchandise everywhere looks like a mess. It is very crowded with merchandise. They need more space to be able to look calmly without people tripping over each other and having to wait for them to move between the rows of merchandise shelves and you have to walk with them. be very careful not to trip over the merchandise and something breaks ????♀️”
