“I can't say enough good things about Travis and his team. I had some issues with my 6.7 Cummins, First off let me say they answered the phone. He took the time almost 30 minutes out of his day to discuss the issues I had. Not once was there any pressure to use him for the repair. He just provided me with information and some recommendations. I had a deadline that I needed the truck back by and he said that he thought he would be able to fit me in. Well not only did he fit me in he finished early. Did an awesome job, fixed all issues and was more than reasonable with the cost. I think I just found my new go to repair shop. I highly recommend. Someone once told me a shop is where vehicles get repaired and a garage is where vehicles are parked. Well this is a shop that you will not be disappointed with.”

Dropped my van off, and they contacted me after repairs were complete on how to pick it up after hours, and some future recommendations for the vehicle. “My Dad has been going their his entire life. The mechanics are very intelligent and don't rake you over the coals. Family runs the business with the 2 brothers as the mechanics and the office manager is the secretary. They fix what's wrong and tell you what your vehicle needs and the cost of repair before starting the job. They're busy, and you need to schedule an appointment because they're booked solid. Although if it's an emergency, they will work you in if you leave your car there so they can fit your car in between their scheduled appointments. They're very well known, and when you ask someone where they take their car it 9x out of 10, Roots. Nice group of people, polite, and will go over everything that needs to be done to your car. I feel my car is in the right hands when I leave my car here. I am always pleased with them every time I've gone to them.”
“Ran over some paint a few weeks back. Went to get some info on how to remove the dried paint I ran over the night befor. They where so helpful and informative. They do both mechanical and body work at this location. The owners are great and very nice and helpful. I felt very welcome since day 1 of bringing my truck here.”

“I decided to reach out to Owen and Eric regarding a recently installed-yet-leaky transmission seal that was done by a previous local shop. Frustrated and tired of dealing with what felt like a never ending ordeal, Owen and Eric not only corrected the sealing issue, but also noticed that the previous shop had overfilled the transmission, and thus, filled it back with the proper amount of gear oil.
They also turned the job around in one day- as someone who usually DIYs everything, I knew this job would be a nightmare at home and didn't want to risk being without my car for several days. Overall, the service was perfectly executed, timely, well priced, and with excellent customer service. Every single box was checked!
For my next oil change, I went under the car and inspected the seal, sure enough, it is drier there than it ever was, even from the factory! (These seals were a poor design to start and had a service bulletin on them)

“This is my 2nd review. Couldn't figure out how to create a new one. Nonetheless, I am back at Old Saybrook Kia for my scheduled appt. It's Aug 30, 2024. I walked in there this morning expecting one thing and got another. I was so floored and had become frustrated with my Convo with Steve in service. This wonderful, fine young man was professional, he listened but must importantly he was empathetic to my concern. I was amazed with his impeccable customer service skills, AGAIN. I am big on customer service and how i speak with and treat others matters to me. I have never experienced this kind of customer service from all sides of the company. I wish all of my friends and family could have the service they provide here at Old Saybrook of Kia. Mariah too, just as sweet and calm as a button. As long as we exist in the same state, I will always use Kia of Old Saybrook...regardless of my car make and model. I already have two friends that are making appts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I was with an excellent dealership for servicing my car and they sold the business. I googled old saybrook and decided to give them a try. I phoned and spoke with (gorgeous) Alex. The customer svc, just over the phone, reeled be in. He immediately made an appt with me as i was concerned about my car burning oil. Long to short story. I trust my car is back in good hands. I travel quite a bit and needed to have my car serviced before another 15 hr drive. Again they squeezed me in last minute same day. Spoke with Mariah who was sweet and empathetic to my situation. Upon my arrival today, I met with Steve, I believe that's his name another very fine blue eyed gentleman. Steve was all about making sure to prioritize the needs of my car and most importantly making it as affordable for me as possible. I am a loyal customer to companies who are loyal to me. I do not want to be taken advantage of monetarily and I want complete transparency. I'm so thrilled I've found them and they are not close to my home but the drive is so well worth it! Thanks again, Alex, Mariah, Steve and there's another young man with dark hair looks native American. Sorry didnt get your name but you were awesome too. And it's my Birthday...oh well at least I'm doing something useful and mandatory.”
“Absolutely outstanding business. Carol and Eddie are true professionals and genuinely care about their customers. They did some major frame work on my Jeep and they cleaned the hell out of it. When I picked it up it looked like a brand new Jeep. They gave me a loaner vehicle while they had my Jeep.

“My car was hit yet again in a parking lot while I was in the store. I had a horrific experience with my local Guilford auto body that was recommended by my insurance. My friend recommended this place in clinton. The owner is friendly, communicative, and the work was done fairly quickly for the December holidays. I will definitely come here again.”
“We dealt with Ateeb Misra and Aaron( sorry do not remember last name). Ateeb was a great salesman, no high pressure. My husband and I knew which car we wanted and Ateeb had the car waiting. He greeted us at the door and told us everything we needed to know about the car. We went for a test drive and fell in love. The finance person was not there but Aaron stepped in and found us a great rate and walked us through the paperwork, even though the toner exploded in his printer, he struggled thru and got everything done. Paperwork signed and car driven home.
The big surprise was Ateeb calling 2 days later to see if we were loving the car and I can say we will be back and send anyone we know to your car company.
