Chakana Sky Alpacas is an active, picturesque alpaca farm offering family-friendly, educational, and personalized farm tours by appointment. Visitors describe it as an amazing, one-of-a-kind experience and an incredible treasure. The owner is super nice, sweet, delightful, incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and clearly cares deeply for the alpacas. Tours are customized, allowing guests to feed the friendly alpacas, learn about their different personalities, and spend time up close with them in a very clean and comfortable setting. The farm has a great little gift shop, a farm store carrying yarn made from the farm's own animal fiber as well as a large variety of clothing items and gifts. The experience is highly recommended for the young or young at heart, is very reasonably priced, and the surrounding area is also adorable to check out. The farm is closed for the winter from January through March, reopening April 1, 2024, and is open by appointment or scheduled event most days from 10 AM to 4 PM.
We had the best time feeding the alpacas and learning all about them. The owner was so kind and knowledgable! I am a knitter, so of course I had to get some yarn and other alpaca goodies from the shop. Highly recommend!

Surprised my friend by taking him to see the alpacas. The owner has 9 alpacas and I must say there are super cute. We were able to feed them and learned a lot from the owner.

We had a great time at the Chakana Sky Alpacas. The owner Bill showed us around the farm and the wonderful alpacas and told us about them. It was our first time meeting alpacas and we are incredibly impressed. Feeding an alpaca from our hands is an incredible feeling. Thank you very much.
