“This hidden gem is the unlikely mashup of a surprisingly well-organized vintage shop (everything from tools, housewares, sporting equipment, antiques and records/tapes/CDs/Dvds), used bookshop (in a geodesic dome outbuilding, no less), and a great little bird and reptile animal rescue facility. You can tell the animals are well cared for as they are cohorted in social groups, have immaculate enclosures and have a variety of toys to play with. What a hidden gem.”
“To summarize:Closeout prices mean items may not always be available.Selection changes frequently, so frequent visits are encouraged. The store can get crowded, especially on weekends.Double-check expiration dates on food items.Overall, Ocean State Job Lot seems like a great option for bargain hunters willing to embrace the surprise factor and potential crowds.”
“Every Sunday I go into this dollar tree there is a very nice respectful manager she is always doing new stuff to make the store perfect and it makes my family and I so comfortable and always want to come back. This wonderful manager Heidi is one of the best managers in this store and there is a another manager Christine we see working with her on other days and they are both hard workers and very respectful and make us happy to always come back all the time. The store is changing for the better since these two managers are changing it to make it perfect and very comfortable to come back. They both deserve a raise for what they do for this store.”
“Love OSJL for known incidentals- like planters, gardening tools & supplies, bird feed, shampoo, oddball clothing, etc. Prices often excellent....but not always. Today stock was rather low & uninteresting, but I got a few great bargains! ?”
