Last time we were there, a couple came in and had their big dogs with them and one of them deficated on the floor and the Manager worked super fast to clean it up. He went above and beyond. I would have made the owners do it. I also think unless its a service dog, dogs should not be allowed in the store. The Management in the store is always on top of things and trying to help customers. Staff is always ready to assist.”

My husband and I arrived about 25 minutes before closing in desperate need of 30 bags of mulch. We understood it was late, and the associate who initially greeted us and later checked us out seemed understandably eager for the night to end and reminded us of the time.

Matthew overheard what we needed and immediately sprang into action with a warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful attitude. He never made us feel like an inconvenience. Instead, he treated us as though helping us was his top priority. He was fully prepared to manually load all 30 bags of mulch onto a cart and help us load them into our truck on a hot and humid July night.

Fortunately, he was able to effortlessly recruit two other outstanding associates, Nick and Miles, who joined in. The three of them brought a pallet of mulch directly to our truck and worked together to quickly and efficiently load all 30 bags. What impressed us most wasn’t just how hard they worked - it was the enthusiasm, kindness, professionalism, and smiles they maintained despite it being so close to the end of their shift - and did I mention a hot and humid July night!!

Matthew L. truly stood out as an exceptional representative of Lowe’s. He embodies the kind of customer-first attitude every company hopes to have in its associates. In a time when outstanding customer service can sometimes be hard to find, Matthew reminded us just how meaningful it can be.
