“Fantastic and somewhat eclectic variety of items but the real treasure here is the woman who was working there Sunday morning (7/30). In addition to being such a charming and pleasant person she was also just amazing in how helpful she was to people coming in the store. One poor woman was out of dog poop bags and the woman didn't hesitate to find her a couple small bags and give the dog a couple treats! We never got a chance to finish our shopping here but we'll be back in a few weeks. I see several xmas gifts with Emmy's name on them!”

The prices are great here, though depending on the color or style you are looking for, they may have limited sizes. At least, that was the case for the pair I was interested in. “I was at the store yesterday looking for an outfit for an upcoming class reunion. I found a fushia jacket and shirt that was perfect but the jacket was a little tight. Cheryl and another woman not only checked all locations in Connecticut to no avail but then checked inventory nationwide wide! The store in Texas was called, they confirmed they had it and it was purchased and will be shipped to me. I hate shopping in stores but these two woman not only have gained a return customer but they represented the brand in an exceptional manner. “What a great, great find. Walking into this store is like walking into the stores up north in Maine,Vermont etc., where you find good quality women’s clothing and unique giftware.
The environment is welcoming with beautiful displays of merchandise. I bought a unique top and beautiful lightweight handbag.
An added bonus was the friendly, smiling employee, Kendall. She is a good addition to the whole experience.
Don’t miss their men’s store, Anchor and Compass located in the same area. It’s just as awesome as this store, but for men.
