“Contacted Steck's to inquire about topsoil on Saturday 9/12. Outstanding topsoil was delivered on Monday, 9/14 and placed exactly where I requested despite proximity to overhead wires. Driver was a great guy, both skilled and professional. I am doing a front lawn renovation and many people have wanted to know where we scored such beautiful topsoil. We are sending them all your way! “My 9 year old son and I stopped here on our way to Stamford. Upon entering the store we were immediately greeted with a friendly staff member. A big smile on his face and a hello. Offering help if we needed it. The store is spotless and well organized with a little something for everyone as well, as a nice selection of hardware products. Nothing in the store was out of place. It was like a breath of fresh air . Staff members came by and kindly asked if they could help us locate anything and when my son asked them a question they went out of their way to answer him even engaging in some friend conversation. We did end up purchasing some items . Cashier was very nice, quick and efficient and asked if we wanted to give our number for the rewards program. We did sign up . That was also a quick and easy process . We will definitely be back . We do visit some stores near by, so will make a trip again soon back to this location. Thank you. Great job great management great staff.”

“Jim, Keith, Staff and owner Rich at Courville Nursey Monroe and Norwalk were incredible and stellar to work with. Professional, neat, clean no damage to the lawn or yard with machines. Had 9' and 16' Green Giants , 14' Hinoki's installed with some other items and transplanted shrubs AND cut down 6 large old pear trees. Have never found in 30 years anyone in CT with this much professionalism that cares about quality of work done.”

“This Home Depot is my hometown store. Essentially it has everything the other stores have, my only criticism is the fact that some items are not the same as other stores nearby. For example, whenever I visit the Fairfield store in the front, outside they normally have grills and other items in the front- but some of the items the Fairfield store has are not the same which are out in the front of the Bridgeport store. The Fairfield store has all types of Weber grills and other high end models but in the Bridgeport store you have the lower models. I wonder why. But essentially for all most hardware, tools and paint needs it is about the same. One thing I will say is the employees at the Bridgeport store seem to be a lot nicer.”

We fell in love with the 8' blue spruce, and once we confirmed it will fit and we came back for it last weekend, Dillon? I think was his name helped us load it into my utility trailer. I really wish Home Depot would allow us to pay with our phones. As in Google/Apple Pay etc.
I'm also spoiled by online shopping, I find it annoying when a store doesn't have the parts I want in stock.”
“My first trip here was to get a sled for my daughter due to an upcoming storm. I was incredibly delighted I stopped by Hemlock Hardware. I found the sleds within a second, but walked around for about 15 minutes amazed at their inventory. I told my wife and she went in, on another occasion, and was equally delighted and excited to have this store in our town. The store employees were incredibly friendly and helpful; content to let us wonder, but quick to answer and show us anything we might be looking for. On our third trip, together this time, we signed up for the loyalty card, as we will definitely be back!”
“First I want to ask managers to be on the floor to check on your staff because they leave the client go round the store without asking them if they can help. This afternoon I came into the store and I ask 3 people on the floor and they couldn't help me but refered me to wrong line for the storage bin I was looking for. But the fourth person I finally consulted her name is miss Faye the Garden Associate guided me to the right place and helped me load the 13 storage bins 27 gallon black and yellow covers I bought. I rate the store 5 start because of Miss Faye. Otherwise my rating was zero. You have a bunch of staff loafing around the store, doing nothing. The lids were on top of the shelves and how do you expect your client to climb to get the lids, yet you have staff employed to assist your clients. In short I was very disappointed of the services. Next time I will name them one by one to report them at your corporate office.”
