“I was given my mom’s engagement ring and wanted to give it to my daughter for her engagement. They took it to a different jeweler who told them there was a crack in the diamond and that it would be easily broken or damaged and proceeded to sell them another ring. I then took the ring to Smith & Son Jewelers and Tom took a look at the ring and told me that was not the case at all. He resized the ring and I am so thrilled to be wearing my mom’s beautiful ring. I wanted to continue wearing my original engagement ring that had small diamonds on either side of a large diamond. Tom removed the main diamond and prong and filled in the space with new diamonds. The ring is beautiful and you would never know that the big diamond and prong had been removed. I wear the rings stacked now, my wedding band, my mom’s ring & my engagement ring. Lastly, I wanted to use the diamond from my original engagement ring in a necklace so Tom helped me to design an incredible gold necklace with the diamond nestled between 6 pearls graduated in size from largest to smallest on each side of the diamond. The necklace is absolutely stunning and I will treasure it and the rings always. I most likely would not have attempted this had it not been for Tom’s knowledge, skill and experience. He is a such a genuinely kind person and a real gem ;)
