“I was looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend and I went to 5 different jewelry stores. I was referred to Alexanders from a friend and met Gene at his shop. After describing what I was looking for he was able to show me some diamonds which he thought would meet my expectations. After describing the stones which he showed me I was stunned that based upon my discussions with the other jewelry stores what he was offering me was almost twice the size with same cut and clarity for about three quarters the price. He explained that since he kept his costs to a minimum and he bought his diamonds direct from diamond cutters he made a reasonable profit but did not mark them up 500% like the larger jewelers. I bought the ring complete for $4200 and took it for an insurance appraisal and it came out at $13,800. Gene made a nice setting which my girlfriend loved. Amazing I will only buy my jewelry from Gene in the future.”
“Brought them bracelets for resizing that my boyfriend got me from somewhere else and they were honest about the job and said they would not touch it due to the quality of the bracelets. I bought my daughter a ring here wasn’t sure about her size and was told I could come back and resize. They resized it for a reasonable price and the job was perfect. You can’t even tell it was resized!!! Will be coming back for future purchases, thank you!”
