“GENEROSITY & INTEGRITY. I reached out to Quicktex thinking I had lost 15yrs of work in the process of transferring data from DropBox to external drives. Before I could make a mirror copy the brand new drive failed. Thinking I was past the restore period I called Mike in a panic. He was generous with his time and knowledge and rather than saying bring it in and I'll charge you a diagnostic fee he first said "are you 100% sure you can't restore your data"? Turns out I had 180 days, not 30, and it was all still there. I feel like most people just take the work, rather than the high road on which you sometimes talk yourself out of job. Had we not spoken I would have given up and moved onto recovery. You can't put a price on integrity but that's what I value most in a professional. If I ever have issues in the future I wouldn't hesitate to call on Quicktex. Mike saved me time, money and a s$%! ton of stress.”

“The Westport Ave Norwalk location was very honest and professional. I went to the Hamden location in the morning @11am because my screen froze then went dark. I was immediately told i need a screen replacement which would cost $149 and the turnaround time would be 6pm. I was just working in the Hamden area but couldnt stay til 6pm . So i brought it to the Norwalk location @ 3pm and was told they need to diagnose the problem first. One hour later I was told they just had to replug the battery and everything was fine after that. There was no charge. Kudos to the techs at the Norwalk location for their honesty and professionalism.”
