“Very nice convenience option with very friendly staff. The app makes gas cheaper and it's great for deals in-store as well. Bathrooms are usually well kept up. Only complaints are how often some of the pumps go down and how congested it can get in their location on a busy corner, but that's usually customers not using the proper exit and parking wherever they feel like.”

“Bemers saved my butt when I called them the day before Thanksgiving because my propane tank was empty and I had 17 people coming for dinner the next day. I tried calling the company I had been getting propane from at least 5 times - including their emergency number and had NO RESPONSE.
I wasn't even a customer of Bemers but they were at my house within 2 hours of calling their emergency number.”

“Ever since we switched our Propane service, including our tanks, to Daniels Energy, we have had nothing but exceptional service. When I call for more propane, the folks on the phone are always friendly and my deliveries happen quickly. Recently we chose Daniels to replace one of our HVAC compressors, and again their service was excellent. A Daniels representative actually came to the house a few times to go over the contract details. And the quality of their workmanship was top notch. Everything they do, from the personal interactions, their responsiveness, the quality of the work, it's all light years ahead of their competition!”

“We had no hot water on Saturday. A call to emergency service resulted in Omar's arrival in the dark that evening. He discovered an empty oil tank and made a call to ensure oil delivery on Monday. Early Monday morning Dan arrived and filled the tank. He even went into the cellar, checked the furnace and determined that it had to be primed, which he was not licensed to do. He made a call and shortly thereafter Sean arrived. Soon the furnace was running and hot water flowed. Omar, Dan and Sean were knowledgeable, professional and, just as important, sympathetic, understanding and kind. I also talked to Claudia, who agreed that the tank should not have been allowed to run out and that I should incur no fees for the services. These people are fine representatives of the Valley Oil program.”

“Not great service. Waited hours for anyone to call me back. Communication was just not there. Delivery was supposed to happen Monday but apparently the truck could not make it up. I cleared and salted the driveway for delivery today and now I’m told it will come Wednesday maybe.

They did a beautiful job making the connection fit into our existing deck. They provided recommendations for our fire table and taught me some important safety and functionality tips for our setup. All team members were great to interact with which included sales, office staff, and installers. We'll definitely continue to do business with this office!”

“We have used River Valley for years and always very impressed with the service. This week was exceptional. Snow storm Monday. We lost power until 4 pm. That evening I realized we had no hot water. Tues, we called RV at 8 am and John ( tech) was at our house by 8:45. He determined that the hot water tank was shot. Wed morning the crew is here with a new tank. BUT they can’t get up our driveway due to the Wed morning snow. John, the owner, drives down to Killingworth in his pick up with a plow, and plows our driveway. By 2 pm, I’m taking a hot shower!!”

“We have used Mirabito in Portland CT for years as our oil delivery service (originally Peterson Oil), and they have been great. The office personnel are always friendly and helpful. Automatic deliveries have always been on time. Price lock-in contracts very convenient for budgeting purposes. During the unprecedented blizzard a few years ago when our long, curvy and hilly driveway looked like a luge track and no way a large oil truck could navigate our driveway, Mirabito brought oil in a small truck to fill our tank. So, when it was time for us to replace our 26+ year old furnace and oil tank, we went directly to Mirabito (they also did a great job a few years ago installing a new air conditioning unit when ours failed). The sales representative, Corey Johnson, for years was a technician who in fact had serviced our furnace many times, so he possessed the technical knowledge to clearly explain in layperson's terms all options so that we could select the right tank and furnace/boiler for our needs. The install was scheduled for a two day period a few weeks after our meeting. The installers, Jason, Nate, Jeff & Jay, arrived on time and did a very professional installation of the new oil tank, furnace and upgraded thermometers in the anticipated time frame. We barely knew they were even here other than the trucks in our driveway. Everything is up and running beautifully. I would definitely recommend Mirabito Portland CT for your installation needs! Don't wait until you have a failure on your old equipment to think about updating your old systems.”
