“Very nice. Lots of birds to look at. Tons of toys. Staff was amazing. The only place they lacked were in food and supplements. We traveled 2.5 hours to go and it was a fun day. Might be a once a year excursion. I would recommend the trip”

Two of my cats have cancer and they were able to make outstanding recommendations on supplements that could be given to help them as well as better food that they could eat. Not only has the staff added to the quality of life of my cats with their recommendations, but they have also provided my family hope. I can't say enough about this business, and if I could, I would give them 1000 stars. If you have questions about the health of your pets, this is the place to turn.”
“Came in go find plant supports for peonies and other plants. I'd already been to 3 different stores and was feeling discouraged but Bidwell's had everything I needed! Such a cute little store with lots of garden decor, trellises, and pet food. GreAt selection of bird seed and cute birdhouses. Good prices and the staff was friendly. Will be back next time I need more gardening supplies :)”
“I have gotten a betta fish, two nephrite snails, a mystery snail, and a pleco from this store, as well as some food. The store is small, really well kept, the bettas are healthy and vibrant. Everything is clean and looks really well taken care of. The store person, who I assume is the owner is extremely helpful and nice. Will go here for all my fish needs. Definitely 100 times better than petco. One of my nephrite snails did die within a two weeks of me buying him, but I think that was my fault, I made a mistake while doing a water change.”
“Ive been following their FB page since it came across my FB feed a few months ago. I finally had some time this past Friday night to check it out for the first time. I purchased a nice Seachem HOB filter for my 20gal tall and some really good sized live plants for my other aquarium. They have a really good selection of everything possible. Reptile,dog and cat even furry little critters. The fish room by far the best I've seen in a while. Freshwater selection is huge and they have a really nice saltwater section also. Prices aren't bad and they're a private local small business not some corporate chain. I talked with the owners for a little bit and they are super nice and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back.”
“Had our first session with Lexi today. Our biggest challenges were having our new 1-1/2yr old rescue Doberman keep heal on leash walks and respond to commands with out a food treat. Lexi was tremendously helpful, knowledgeable and with just a few mins of work and advice there is a noticeable change. Looking forward to many more sessions and programs with Dogology. Highly Recommend!”

“I brought my pup for a bath and a haircut at Petco of Avon for his scheduled time at 1:15. The young man at grooming immediately took him in, and we discussed how short he should go. He also wanted to see his most up to date Rabies vaccine. He said he would call me when he's ready in around three hours.So I went around town to do some errands. I got the call around 4:00 that he's ready and I could pick him up. I couldn't wait to see his fresh new summer haircut!I was so, so very embarrassed with what the groomer told me. He said they couldn't cut around his face, he was way too aggressive. He really isn't an aggressive dog at all. He's had most of his teeth removed, so couldn't be aggressive by biting.I thought they did a great job on his body, and he smelled so fresh and clean. His head was a bit uneven because he was wiggly. They didn't charge me for this haircut, that was pretty embarrassing too, they worked on him for a long time. They didn't even want to accept my tip. I truly appreciate their honesty and their hard work. I'm going to work on fixing the unevenness my self.I recommended Petco of Avon even if I won't be returning here. They are hard working and honest. If your pup could sit still it'll be so much easier for everyone.”

“The FreshPet food flavor that I buy my dog was not available. I bought another flavor but my dog would not eat it. I was so happy that I was able to return it :) I asked to hold a guinea pig and was able to do that and really enjoyed it. Everyone I encountered at the Windsor, CT store was so kind and helpful on both days that I visited. They were awesome :)”

“We had a great experience this morning at Petco in Avon. Took our 2 doggos in for nail trims and Erica took them in and did a phenomenal job. Our usually anxious long-haired mini dachshund was the perfect student. Erica was very pleased with how she behaved, as were we. And our rescue mountain cur also did very well. Would absolutely recommend this store and Erica!!”

“I originally ordered online from them and had a bad experience. Two things I'd ordered and paid for weren't in stock and hadn't been in stock for weeks. When they asked me if I'd accept an alternative, I picked one; but when it was delivered they'd given me a different alternative than the one I picked.But recently I went in-store with my puppy and my friends with their puppies and we had a great time! They were extremely friendly and helpful at the counter. So maybe I'll just purchase in-store from now on.”
