“A few weeks ago I posted asking about ACL surgery for dogs. In The course of discussion Leshem surgical in Canton was recommended many times. Six weeks out and I can report that the healing is going well and I highly recommend Leshem. There were no surprises. It cost exactly what they said it would cost and Molly has healed at Exactly the rate they said. Of course, carrying a 70 pound labrador up three stories of stairs for the last six weeks has not been fun but apparently I've got in shape too. The lab was only six years old so the surgery or something I felt I had to do. I highly recommend Lehmen. Straight shooters with no nonsense, no sugarcoating. Just medical facts. I must say I was amazed the dog was walking the next day. The only challenge was keeping her calm for the 10 weeks of healing.”

There are quite a few people involved throughout the process, but what really stood out was how well they all communicate with one another. Everything felt coordinated, and I never felt like I had to repeat information or figure out who knew what. The surgery was done impeccably, and the original quote was right on the mark — no surprises or hidden fees. I especially appreciated Dr. Leshem’s straightforward, upfront demeanor. He is clearly very skilled at what he does, but he is also personable and took the time to explain everything and answer my questions. I also felt that the pricing was more than fair, and he even found a few ways to help me out where he could, which I truly appreciated. This is exactly the kind of personal attention that is becoming harder to find with large corporate veterinary chains. This will absolutely be my new go-to emergency veterinary practice, and I’ve already shared the recommendation with my neighbors. Hopefully we won’t need emergency veterinary care again anytime soon, but it is such a relief to know that this level of quality, skill, and compassion is right in the neighborhood.”

“We have been coming here for years. The office has always been very responsive, willing to answer questions, and able to fit us in within a timely manner. We have a nervous dog who can be reactive. This is not the first vet office to manhandle our boy, but it is the first to insist on a muzzle. We assumed these were things we simply had to expect with our growly barky man. The care has always been efficient, although perhaps not always compassionate. I am leaving this review because I never expected that my reactive pup could ever have a positive visit to a vet. Dr. Walker showed me otherwise. This was our first time meeting her, as she's a relatively new addition, and she is quite literally wonderful: she entered the room slowly, gave my dog space, and spent at least the first 5 minutes down on the floor with him to build his comfort and confidence. She did not rush us. There were no muzzles. There was no growling or barking. She let me hold him during his vaccinations and gave me clear instructions on how to do so properly. Dr. Walker, thank you so very much for your genuine care, and for showing me that it is possible to find a compassionate vet for my sweet albeit nervous boy. You are in the absolutely right field.”

“Dr Sachdev is not only an intuitive veterinarian but a kind, caring man dedicated to helping people care for their pets. I started with him back in the mid ‘80’s, with a plethora of pets over the years; left for a while due to time/ location but am so grateful to be back over the last 8 years. Dr’s experience & skillset helped me keep my DaisyMae (with chronic thyroid issues) healthy till it was time for her to have eternal rest at 18.7 years old. Huge shout out for Katie and Jenna who are always on their game despite the busy and often chaotic front end, they do the hard work with dedication to pets and their owners. We adopted Marco, a shelter/rescue kitty they had housed for a year and we look forward to continuing our journey there at River Valley.”
