American customer service is renown for being the best, but sadly the two times I went into the Greenwich shop this week, the staff were unpleasant and pushy. I think from now on I will forgo going into this shop and buy on line! Never again…..

Absolutely delightful experience with helpful sales clerks who knew the merchandise and inventory well, and we're able to identify complimentary styles and colors to the items that interested me. I've shopped in many JmcL's but the Greenwich store was new to me.Two items I purchased had to be sent (shipping is free) from other locations, and the third item required alterations. The clerk pinned the pants and ordered a rush delivery before my vacation 5 days later.JmcL styles are very flattering to women of a certain age and I keep buying the Maisie pant and signature tee in various colors. I do wish, however, that they made more items in jewel tones instead of mostly pastels, which are great in Florida but less so in New York.

LOVE! The clothes are amazing the staff is so helpful. I don't live near a store and appreciate how they take care of me with shipping and face time calls so I can see product live and feel like in person. Kristin, the manager, is amazing. Can't say enough!

Would steer clear. Prejudice and racist is an understatement here. Was in the store two weeks ago, everyone was on edge, and completely racial profiling a poor woman who had an accent. Following her around, etc...sales associates are so rude.
