Cost me $12.25+tax for this small Reuben sandwich. (2 slices of corned beef) The blackboard menu behind the deli states it is $8.99. Told the cashier and he didn't really care about reimbursing me. The deli girl ignored me about the price too. I should have walked out. Never going back though. Also, there was a very weird smell when walking in.

Not my style kind of place. Upon strolling in you will find a little sign that says made in 1801. I did not see any marble or any historic cool building like in Europe so I think this can be a lie. I never had lunch here but was close to the job we doing. The counter man told me the kenwa salad is good and said it is healthy. It was $14 for a small serving I ate some in the truck because not much tables. It was gross , tasted like old vinegar and old vegetables and wet rice. I hate to say this because it seemed like a nice local spot but this food is not good , I would eat it if I was hungry on an island but not hungry in Greenwich. Better off a Panda bread or subway for a needy lunch.

Loved the sandwiches we ordered - not too spicy and quite filling! Very nice ladies helped us.

Great cold cut sandwich. Nothing fancy, just the way it should be. Also like stepping back in time 75 years. Great place.

What a terrible experience. I walked in asked if they carried an item was told no I asked how the food was the guy recommended the chicken cutlet sandwich I stood at the deli counter for over 10 minutes waiting they never took my order just stood there and spoke another language whispering about me and laughing and looking at me never said may I help you so I walked out. I suggest going to Nick's corner market which is near the round Hill store. At Nick's corner market they are very friendly and treat you like family I was so pleased.

Visited this store from San Diego when visiting my father and Rye New York; review would have been five stars as the old-timey I guess early to mid-1900s antiques and toy trains and cash registers and so forth made for an extremely interesting visit! However, the deli staff were uninterested in helping make a sandwich promptly, minimal effort, talked amongst each other doing dishes, turkey sub was just shy of $10 which was expensive for what I got. One lady worker stood on the porch outdoor area where I was eating and spoke loudly in Spanish with a gas station worker man from next door for 10 to 15 minutes, and paid no attention to our pleading stares or discomfort.

We got off of 15 to avoid a traffic delay and happened across this gem of a country store. Very friendly service and we got 2 sandwiches made for us and then were so happy with the atmosphere we ate them on the front porch and watched the rich NY city folk drive by in their Porches. From what turned into a annoyance we ended up spending a lovely 30 minutes relaxing on the front porch. The store itself is pretty awesome and feels like a time warp stepping into it. If you're nearby and in need of a break from driving then look no further! I'd highly recommend stopping in.

Do you like trains? How about model trains? And old country stores, what about them? Well this store combines all of them into one. Along with other nostalgia items that decorate the walls, this store is a reminder of years past, from when you place your sandwich order to a person and not a computer; When the places you bought lunch from wasn't about flashy lights and high prices and food shipped in from god-knows-where. Just one look at the porch out front with the rocking chairs (great for eating lunch) and the gas station next door, and you'll know you're at the right place.
