We stayed for our 2nd year wedding anniversary and the staff was very accommodating, customer service was exceptional. The room was very updated with a comfortable bed. Tony has such an amazing personality and the restaurant was really upscale and the food was great.

Stayed here for three nights on a weekend getaway. It was the only hotel I found with an outdoor pool, which was the main reason we booked it. Ironically, we only spent about three hours at the pool before deciding not to return to the pool again.
Despite its four-star rating, the pool area was disappointing. There appeared to be no rules, guests played music from personal speakers, creating a low-end atmosphere. Poolside service was nearly nonexistent. I waited 3 hours just to order a drinks & small bites, repeatedly trying to get the server’s attention. Other guests ended up walking over to the waiter themselves to place orders. Although managers occasionally walked through the area, no one stopped to check on guests or offer assistance.
We eventually left the pool after 3 hours all hungry and went to downtown Greenwich for late lunch/dinner, which was a great alternative. The area has plenty of excellent restaurants. The rest of the weekend was spent exploring boardwalks and parks, which we really enjoyed.
The in-room technology is convenient when working, though we experienced occasional glitches. Most of the staff were friendly, which helped balance out some of the frustrations.
Overall, the location and nearby attractions were great, but the pool experience and lack of service left us disappointed. It’s a nice 3 star hotel but definitely not 4 stars.

I finally found my go-to spot in Connecticut!
After bouncing from hotel to hotel across the state, I’m thrilled to say that The J House Greenwich has exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the experience was outstanding—especially thanks to Janice Perna-Nicholas, the general manager, who went above and beyond to make my stay extraordinary. Her warmth and attention to detail truly made the difference.
The room was clean, modern, and extremely comfortable—everything you could want for a restful night. On top of that, Tony’s Steakhouse on-site was a standout. The food and service were excellent, making the entire experience feel elevated and complete.
If you're traveling to Connecticut and looking for quality, comfort, and hospitality that feels personal, look no further. I’ve found my place—and I’ll be coming back every time I’m in town.

This was a really mid stay. We booked 2 nights and the rooms are okay (very modern), but you can near every sound from the hallway, from your neighbor, from the trickle of water through the pipes. And, for example instead of giving us some more shampoo (small bottles) when doing housekeeping they didn’t replace/give any more any the vanity sets/shampoo/conditioner/body wash. We called at one point for a fresh set of towels which came 1-2 hours later. I would highly recommend the Hyatt regency over this option if given the choice. Breakfast is very underwhelming.
