Goodwin Park Golf Course is a historic and well-maintained public golf course in Hartford, offering a scenic and enjoyable golfing experience for players of all skill levels. The course features a mix of challenging and beginner-friendly holes, with a beautiful landscape, massive old trees, and stunning views of the Eastern Connecticut highlands and the Hartford skyline. The greens are generally in great condition, though some may have unrepaired ballmarks. The bunkers are mediocre, but the overall course condition is very good, especially considering the amount of rain. The staff is attentive and helpful, and the 19th hole provides excellent food and craft beer options. Goodwin Park Golf Course is a local favorite, with many golfers returning to play the course multiple times a year.
Finally played it for the first time, and it’s a good track, even late in the season. The conditions were good and I had fun. Played like absolute garbage, but that’s my fault not the courses fault.

Played the south course this past weekend. Greens were nice. Second Hole was under construction and some areas of the cart path were in process of being rebuilt. Overall was surprised how much money is being put into the course. Definitely will come back when the construction is complete.
