DoubleTree by Hilton Hartford Downtown is conveniently located in downtown Hartford. It is within walking distance of Dunkin' Park, the convention center, the XL Center, and many nice restaurants and attractions. Guests find the rooms to be spacious, clean, comfortable, and nice, with very comfortable beds. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. However, some guests note drawbacks. The walls are very thin, and freeway noise can be loud. The gym is small but reasonably well-equipped, and there is a sauna. The pool is often closed. A significant point of disappointment is the breakfast, which is not free with reservations. When available, it offers a narrow range of choices, described as grim and lacking effort. The hotel shares its building with apartments, which can contribute to noise. The signature cookies remain free and good.
Great hotel in a nice area. Clean room and comfortable bed. The staff was ok.

The hotel was good, clean, bed and shower were great. The only hard time we had was parking. Truck would not fit in their garage, lots around were confusing saying 24 hours, but then stopped time at 3am. On street parking was to small for my truck. Tough stuff. Area seems very nice and cool to explore though. Cool... read full comment

Location is a good centralized area around some good restaurants. The rooms are nice. Plus they have microwaves, which is a huge thing to me because a lot of hotels don’t want to. Checked in with Chris last night and he offered great funny customer service thank you
