“Staff were good. Rooms were really clean! WiFi doesn’t work so well. I was unable to connect my Xbox to the WiFi. Right across the street from a baseball stadium. About a 20 minute walk to any restaurants or bars. It’s not in the heart of downtown but close.”

“I had a very pleasant stay at The Capitol Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection. The hotel has a classic downtown feel, with warm and inviting common areas. My room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious.
I stayed in a room with two beds, and there was still plenty of space to move around. I especially appreciated the large windows, comfortable beds, refrigerator, microwave, coffee station, desk, and storage.
The downtown location was another major plus and made getting around Hartford very convenient.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. It was comfortable, convenient, and welcoming, and I would definitely consider staying here again.”
“The hotel was good, clean, bed and shower were great. The only hard time we had was parking. Truck would not fit in their garage, lots around were confusing saying 24 hours, but then stopped time at 3am. On street parking was to small for my truck. Tough stuff. Area seems very nice and cool to explore though. Cool views.”

“I had a great experience staying at Best Western Hartford Hotel & Suites. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of options, and the free parking was definitely a plus.
One thing to note is that the hotel charges a $100 security deposit at check-in, which is refundable after checkout, provided there are no issues with the room.
Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, and I would definitely stay here again. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced stay in the Hartford area.”
“Stayed here for a quick business trip. It’s a simple place, nothing fancy, but it did the job — quiet at night, and the staff was polite. Room was okay, could use a few updates, but everything worked.
I was in the area for a few finish carpentry projects — I run a local company called Door Construction based out of Worcester.
