“Photographing weddings at The Society Room is always a good time. Right in the heart of downtown Hartford, it's easy to step outside for a few city portraits before heading back inside. The interior is gorgeous, the reception space is massive, and the whole venue has a really elegant feel. The staff is always friendly and great to work with, which makes the day even better. Looking forward to the next one!”

“Bulfinch's 1796 brick block sits in the middle of downtown traffic, which is part of the charm and part of the noise. Inside, the Senate is back to Federal plaster and the Representatives' chamber is Victorian wood; a docent on the tour kept us from mixing up the two. I liked the courtroom restoration more than the gift shop.”

“We celebrated a friends birthday here at a dueling pianos event. It was fabulous!! I reached out to Kris with questions about dinner there versus going out first. She was so helpful and sweet. She made sure we had the menu and set up a great table for my friend’s celebration and came over to say hi and happy birthday. All the service that night was amazing. The dinner was great and the musicians were talented, energetic and so engaging!!! Highly recommend.”

“The Connecticut Convention center is located almost on the riverfront and sits not far from an easily navigable residential area with Airbnb's & hotels. Recommend a suite in the historic James Coit house if you want to explore Hartford, while staying with a resident family. The Bushnell Park, Carousel, Fountain is a short 15 min walk from the CC. The center is accessible, modern and the Staff are eager to assist you in any way. We attended the DNC Bailey Dinner & heard Stacey Abrams speech. Great venue for dinner & political networking.”
