Kent Falls State Park is a beautiful and peaceful outdoor destination, known for its stunning waterfalls that are especially spectacular after heavy rain. The falls are pretty all year round, offering great photo opportunities from various spots, including a covered bridge and scenic views during fall foliage season. The park features a short, easy hike to the top of the falls, with paved paths and some big steps, making it accessible for families. Children, even as young as 7 or 8, can enjoy climbing to the top with supervision. There are picnic tables, grills, and a babbling brook running through the park, which may contain trout. However, parking can be limited and often full, and the restroom facilities are limited to two portable toilets, which some visitors find unsatisfactory. Overall, Kent Falls is a lovely place to enjoy nature, picnicking, and short hikes, though visitors should be prepared for busy parking and basic amenities.
Kent Falls State Park, Kent, CT. Beautiful waterfall with a clean picnic area. Nestled in the Northeast corner of Connecticut with lovely quaint towns and scenic roads in the drive there from Central Connecticut. Enjoy!

Very great hate the stairs though don't bring strollers if you plan on going up to the top but beside that it's beautiful but there's only porta pottys and they stink but the park is beautiful and dog friendly

Kent Falls is really a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. If you can climb the stairs to see each portion of the Falls, it’s worth seeing. Bring a picnic lunch. They do have picnic tables and portapotties
